Boston Celtics to beat Indiana Pacers

Boston are still in with a chance of pipping Milwaukee to the top spot in the Eastern Conference and they have been in good form as they prepare to host the Pacers. Jayson Tatum is on track to register an impressive 30-point average this campaign, closely tailed by Jaylen Brown.

The scoring power of the two should give the Celtics a huge edge over the travelling Indiana. Boston have won seven of the previous eight matches against the Pacers at TD Garden and will be favourites to continue that streak on Friday night.

Memphis Grizzlies to beat Houston Rockets

Memphis will continue their pursuit of Denver at the top of the West when they take on the Houston Rockets this weekend. The Grizzlies have a lot of ground to make up on the Nuggets and not a lot of time to do so, but they are in scintillating form. Their recent run includes three victories against the Dallas Mavericks and two against the Golden State Warriors.

Jaren Jackson has stepped up big time in the absence of Ja Morant, registering 20+ point games in four successive outings. With the star man’s return imminent, the Grizzlies will be tough to beat toward the backend of the NBA 2023 season.

Milwaukee Bucks to beat Utah Jazz

This should be an interesting match-up but we can’t see too many teams hanging with the Bucks right now. Milwaukee are well on their way to winning the Eastern Conference and will be many people’s pick to claim their second ring in three years.

Utah is a tough place to go but the Bucks have excelled on the road in recent months. Since the end of January they have won 11 of their 12 matches away from home, with their only defeat coming in overtime against Golden State. Giannis Antetokounmpo is having another MVP-worthy season, averaging 31 points and 12 rebounds. Assisted by the creativity of Jrue Holiday, Milwaukee might just be the team to beat.

LA Clippers to beat New Orleans Pelicans

Kawhi Leonard is enjoying life back on the main stage alongside Paul George and the pair look set to fire the Clippers to the playoffs. Between them, the forwards are averaging 48 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists per game – not to mention the addition of Russell Westbrook.

The Pelicans have a strong roster themselves but their star player has been consistently hampered by injury since joining the NBA. Without Zion Williamson, it’s tricky to see how they could navigate to a spot in the post-season.
