Formula 1 2023: Singapore Grand Prix Preview
After sharing the spoils with teammate Sergio Perez in the opening four races, Max Verstappen has taken control of the World Championship, winning 10 consecutive races. His recent victory at Monzo saw him eclipse Sebastian Vettel’s record for most successive wins. Now the question remains, how far can he extend this winning streak?
It’s not too surprising to find Verstappen an enormous favourite to win this weekend. The 1.18 odds are barely worth betting on. The closest competition to Verstappen will be his Red Bull teammate Perez, but it is difficult to see them giving Perez their full attention when Verstappen is so dominant. The other outsider potentially liking the look of an upset is Hamilton. The Brit is the second-most decorated Singapore GP driver of all time with four wins, second only to Vettel (5).
