Between George and Reggie Jackson, the Clippers should cruise past the Pelicans.

New York Knicks vs Houston Rockets
With just one win this campaign, the Rockets have the worst record in the league. They have lost their last 11 in a row, failing to score 100 points in over half of those games. They will travel to New York to face a Knicks side with some serious scoring power. Julius Randle has been a standout performer, but Evan Fournier and RJ Barrett have both contributed with important points. The Knicks are going through a slight dip in form, but we can’t see how the Rockets can turn things around.

With last season’s Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert looking set for another good season, the Frenchman is a star player in his basketball position and will play a crucial role in his team’s play-off charge.

Detroit Pistons vs LA Lakers
The Lakers have struggled to find consistency this season and that has not been helped by the absence of star man Lebron James, who has been side-lined with an abdominal strain. Power forward Anthony Davis has done his best to shoulder the scoring burden, but any team in the league would miss the playmaking abilities and point-scoring dominance of James. In spite of James’ injury, the Lakers have enough quality throughout the squad to beat this Pistons team who have only put together three wins thus far.
