We’re kicking things off with this bottom-of-the-table clash. After a dreadful start to their Jupiler Pro League 2023 campaign, Westerlo are rock bottom with three points in nine games. They have lost six and have failed to pick up their first victory thus far. However, that could change this weekend as they host second-last Kotrijk.
The visitors picked up their first win last weekend but have still lost six of their opening nine games. They remain the only team yet to win a point away from home, which could well continue at Westerlo. They have lost all four away matches, scoring just twice and conceding 13 times.

Anderlecht vs KV Mechelen
Anderlecht extended their unbeaten streak to eight games last time out with a 3-1 win over Eupen. They are just one point off the league leaders and will be hoping to eliminate that gap when they face Mechelen.
The visitors are without a victory in three games, with their only away win coming against Westerlo. Mechelen are the joint lowest goalscorers in the league in the last five games, and we expect them to struggle against an in-form Anderlecht team.
Anderlecht to win – 1.72
Antwerp vs Eupen
Surely the tide has to turn at some point for the champions. They have drawn three consecutive league games 0-0, which has seen them slip five points off the Jupiler Pro League frontrunners. Despite boasting the league’s best defensive record, they will need to score more goals if they are to have a chance of retaining their title.
Eupen could be just the team to spark Antwerp’s goalscoring. The visitors have conceded 18 goals in nine games – the third-worst defence in the league – and they travel to Antwerp having lost four matches in a row.
Antwerp to win – 1.20
St. Truiden vs Union Saint-Gilloise
Union-Saint Gilloise find themselves top of the Jupiler Pro League 2023 table on goal difference after beating Charleroi 3-1 last weekend. They have now won three successive league matches as they go in search of a long-awaited league title. We’re backing them away from home against St. Truiden, despite the home sides’ four-match unbeaten run.
St. Truiden may not have lost in four, but they have also won just once during that time. Back-to-back draws against Genk and Club Brugge are undoubtedly impressive, but Saint-Gilloise are the form side in the league at the moment.
