Villarreal vs Real Madrid
First up in our European football predictions is Real Madrid to win on the road against Villarreal. Los Blancos could go top of the table should Barcelona drop points at Atletico Madrid, and they will be desperate to capitalise on any opportunity to do so. The visitors have the best away record in La Liga this season – 7 wins, 1 defeat – a stark contrast to Villarreal’s 10th best home record.
Madrid have drawn their last two matches against Villarreal, but with Karim Benzema back from injury and back on the scoresheet against Valladolid, they will be favourites at Estadio de la Ceramica.

Brentford vs West Ham
It’s always difficult to predict how teams will line-up in the FA Cup. However, Brentford will surely want to continue their fine form, and will likely pick a strong team as a result. The Bees were fairly convincing 2-0 winners when these two teams met just a few days ago, with West Ham struggling since the return of domestic football.
Brentford’s impressive 3-1 league win against Liverpool shows they are more than capable of performing without star man Ivan Toney, and our football prediction is a third straight win for Thomas Frank and Brentford.

AC Milan vs Roma
This Sunday night Serie A clash could have huge ramifications in the Italian title race. Defeat for Milan could spell the end of their title challenge. Roma have been one of the strongest sides on the road this campaign, but they face a tough test at the San Siro. The hosts have won seven of their eight home matches and four of their last five meetings with Roma.
Our football prediction is that the champions come out on top in a low-scoring affair.

Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona
Atletico Madrid are not out of the title race just yet, but defeat would see them fall 14 points adrift of the league leaders. Barcelona make the trip to the Metropolitano following a fine start to the season. Xavi’s side have conceded an incredible six goals in 15 La Liga outings, whilst also ranking as the league’s second most prolific attack (one goal behind Real Madrid).
Atletico are also having a good season themselves, but Diego Simeone’s team rank 13th for points accumulated at home. Our football prediction is a tight game in which Barcelona prevail – maybe a 1-0 victory.
