Game after game, Nice have continued to impress this season. Since their opening day goalless draw with Reims they have gone on to win their next three without conceding, scoring 10 along the way. They are slight underdogs for this tie against Monaco but have all the momentum, confidence and form to win this game.
Whilst the home side’s defence has shut opposition out, Nice’s striker partnership has set the league alight. Kasper Dolberg has scored three in as many games and French wonderkid Amine Gouiri has managed four goals and an assist thus far. The blend of youth and experience in Maxence Lacroix and John Brooks has proven the key to success for Mark van Bommel’s side, although they also boast attacking talent with the likes of Maximillian Philipp, Lukas Nmecha and target man Wout Weghorst.
After losing last season’s top goalscorer Andre Silva, Frankfurt are yet find their feet this campaign. Drawing three of their four games, they have not performed badly, but simply have missed the cutting edge that Portuguese forward Silva provided last season. We don’t think their forward line will have enough to break down the Wolfsburg defensive wall and the home side look a good selection for your football combo bet.

Valencia vs Real Madrid
La Liga’s joint top two teams will lock horns on Sunday in what looks to be an exciting clash. Valencia have a greater reliance on defensive resilience and are yet to concede at the Estadio de Mestalla, whereas Madrid have been free-scoring, finding the net 13 times in the opening four games.
33 year-old Karim Benzema shows no signs of slowing down and has already managed nine goal contributions in the opening four games – five goals four assists. He will be the key man if Madrid are to win this game. Not only is he a clinical goalscorer, the Frenchman has world-class link-up play and his ability to create space and chances for wingers is unparalleled. This will be pivotal for Carlo Ancelotti’s side who will be looking to outscore Valencia.
The home side will be hopeful their strong centre-back pairing of South American Gabriel Paulista and Omar Alderete can keep Madrid at bay and Jose Bordalas’ side have real attacking threat of their own in Maximiliano Gomez and Goncalo Guedes. Ultimately, Madrid have looked devastating going forward and we think they will outscore Valencia on the road.
