Women’s Euro 2025: Matchday 2 Betting Tips

Matchday 2 at Women’s Euro 2025 is up and running, with more stunning fixtures to come throughout the course of this week.

England are looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to France on Matchday 1 when they take on the Netherlands, while Belgium also take meet the pre-tournament favourites in Spain.

Below are some more online sports betting tips focused on the action at Euro 2025, part of the way in which we help people place football bets online.

*All odds are subject to change

Alexia Putellas to score anytime for Spain vs Belgium @ 2.03

Barcelona midfielder Putellas was up to her usual tricks against Portugal on Matchday 1. The attacking midfielder scored yet another goal in a 5-0 win for Spain, who already look like the team to beat out in Switzerland. Belgium lost 1-0 to Italy in their first match and we would be shocked to see anything but another comfortable Spain win here. But there is little value to be had in wagering on a La Roja victory, so we like the look of these odds on two-time Ballon d’Or winner Putellas, who now has 35 goals on the international stage.

England to beat the Netherlands and over 2.5 goals in the match @ 2.61

This really is a must-win match for Sarina Wiegman and her England side following the aforementioned defeat to France. And picking up three crucial points will not be easy against a Netherlands team fresh from a convincing 3-0 victory over Wales. But the Lionesses have the superior player quality in their ranks and we expect them to eventually secure a crucial win to boost their qualification hopes. However, England have only kept three clean sheets in their last six matches across all competitions, hence why we are tipping a selection which includes a goal from the Dutch – who have scored in 10 of the previous 11 matches.

France to score over 3.5 goals vs Wales @ 2.10

France’s win over England was a huge result for them and they are now being rightly tipped as one of the team’s to challenge the likes of Spain. The Welsh showed heart against the Netherlands, but the gap in quality was evident in the end. Against a France side with perhaps a higher degree of class within the ranks, Wales may very well struggle to keep the scoreline respectable. The French thrashed Belgium 5-0 in a pre-tournament warm-up fixture and also beat Switzerland 4-0 on Matchday 5 of the Nations League.

Italy to beat Portugal @ 1.59

Before the tournament, Italy were widely tipped to be the team to progress to the knockout stage with Spain from Group B. And after beating Belgium 1-0 on Matchday 1, the Italians now have the chance to achieve that feat with a game to spare. Portugal will still be reeling from their 5-0 defeat to Spain and with Italy on a run of four games without a defeat – a run which includes away victories over Wales and Denmark – the Portuguese hopes of avoiding elimination should be ended on Matchday 2.
