Wimbledon 2025 is nearly upon us, with the action officially getting underway in the men’s and women’s singles on Monday.
The London-based Grand Slam is often viewed as the most prestigious tournament in all of tennis and the one which everyone wants to win.
Wimbledon is the third Grand Slam of the year, with only the US Open left to come in this calendar year.
So, with tennis fever set to grip the sporting world for two weeks, let’s take a look at who the favourites are and who is in form ahead of the start.
Below, we have previewed the famous event, while also providing the latest outright tennis odds from our website, which you can use in a pre-tournament bet!
Wimbledon 2025 Preview
In the men’s singles, there are two names on the lips of every tennis fan; Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
The two best players in the world – by a considerable distance as well – are the big favourites to win the event, with Alcaraz the defending champion following his maiden victory in 2024.
Alcaraz also has recent form behind him, having triumphed at Queen’s last weekend and winning the French Open title at the start of the month.
However, Sinner has already enjoyed Grand Slam success this year through an Australian Open victory – and he was the beaten finalist at the French Open in one of the greatest matches seen on any court.
Toppling the superstar duo looks close to impossible, though British No1 Jack Draper is beginning to show signs of world-class ability as he looks to emulate the achievements of compatriot Andy Murray.
Draper reached the semis at Queen’s, only to lose to Czechia’s Jiri Lehecka.
Novak Djokovic is also eyeing a record-equalling eighth Wimbledon title, while Taylor Fritz and Alexander Zverev are ranking high in the pre-tournament odds market.
Glancing at the women’s bracket, the competition looks a little bit more fierce, with Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, 2025 French Open winner Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek all highly fancied.
And then there are the likes of 2025 Australian Open winner Madison Keys, Mirra Andreeva and Marketa Vondrousova, all highly-skilled competitors who help make this bracket extremely hard to call.
Betting against Alcaraz and Sinner looks a foolish move to make in truth, but if you are looking to find value for your bets, the women’s bracket presents the perfect opportunity!
A case in point, last year’s Wimbledon winner Barbora Krejcikova is priced at 51.00 to retain her title, at longer odds than Emma Raducanu (41.00)!
