The March international break perhaps came at a good time for Inter and manager Cristian Chivu.
After a blistering start to the year, the side from Milan are now just six points clear at the top of the Serie A table.

So Inter have well and truly opened the door to the chasing pack, potentially setting us up for a generational end to the Italian top-flight season.
This fixture is also huge for Roma. The Giallorissi’s 1-0 win over Lecce last time out means they sit just three points behind FC Como in fourth – which is the final Champions League qualification spot.
A win here would be massive for Gian Piero Gasperini’s men as a result, though their away form in recent times has been lacklustre to say the least.
The previous two on the road for Roma saw them lose 2-1 at Genoa and – more importantly – 2-1 at Como.
However, Roma did beat Inter 1-0 at San Siro last season, and also claimed a 2-1 victory in the 2022-23 edition of the fixture.
