Where does the time go, eh?

But now back to the Premier League and the latest round of fixtures…

*All odds are subject to change

Aston Villa to beat Leicester @ 1.31

It has certainly been a tricky period for Aston Villa, who are trying and failing to match domestic pre-season expectations.

Sitting ninth in the table, Unai Emery’s side have only won one of their last four in the league, although that was a 2-1 home victory over Manchester City.

The squad is still littered with Champions League quality, so we expect the Villans to put Monday’s 2-2 draw with Brighton behind them and dismantle struggling Leicester at Villa Park.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Foxes have suffered four defeats in a row, conceding 12 goals and scoring only one. Tough times indeed…

Manchester City vs West Ham: Both teams to score – No @ 2.17

Given City’s defensive struggles this season, it may seem odd that we are betting on them not to concede in this one.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side kept a clean sheet in their 2-0 win at Leicester on Matchday 19, which provided some welcome relief for the manager.

And West Ham travel to the Etihad Stadium without their main goal threat and captain Jarrod Bowen, who fractured his foot in the 5-0 loss to Liverpool.

So the signs point towards a comfortable City win here, with Stefan Ortega or Ederson in goal having very little (if anything) to do.

Fulham and Ipswich to draw @ 4.20

Ipswich will make the trip to Fulham full of confidence after beating Chelsea 2-0 at Portman Road.

Kieran McKenna’s side have shown signs of quality throughout the term and were finally rewarded with a first home victory of the campaign.

As such, Ipswich should provide a stern examination of Fulham’s credentials and it could well be a tightly-contested thriller at Craven Cottage.

Marco Silva’s side have drawn their last two at home, including the 0-0 with Southampton just before the Christmas break.

Nottingham Forest to beat Wolves @ 2.32

Unless you have been living under a rock, you will know that Forest are enjoying a remarkable 2024-25 season.

Ahead of Matchday 20, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side sit third in the table and they travel to Wolves on Monday night with five consecutive wins to their name.

Of course, the hosts are yet to taste defeat under new manager Vitor Pereira and beat Manchester United 2-0 in the last match at Molineux.

However, with influential attacker Matheus Cunha now serving a two-match suspension, Wolves are in line to become the latest victim of Forest’s ferocious form.
