West Ham to beat Southampton @ 2.15

As two sides in dire need of some points, this game has a sense of importance you would not usually expect. Southampton are rock bottom of the table with only six points to show for their efforts, with ‘overplaying’ and a lack of efficiency up top being to blame for their woeful performances. West Ham are in similarly poor form after the appointment of Julen Lopetegui and a host of summer signings has not propelled them up the table. We do, however, think the Hammers will come out on top in this one.

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham: Both teams to score @ 1.40

Forest are in the midst of a season in which they are vastly overperforming. Spurs, however, are experiencing the other end of the spectrum. But one thing that can be said for both teams is they never seem to have a problem scoring goals. Each of them possesses dynamic attacking components that have troubled even the top teams in the league. And we expect much of the same this Boxing Day, with both teams to get on the scoresheet.

Bournemouth to beat Crystal Palace @ 1.89

Bournemouth are in a serious period of progression, with the team looking better and better under manager Andoni Iraola. The Cherries already have some impressive wins under their belt (3-0 at Manchester United last Sunday) and we expect another to be added on Boxing Day when they face Crystal Palace. The Eagles are slowly improving after a tough start, but we think they will be overwhelmed by the Bournemouth momentum and become the latest to lose to the South Coast club.

Wolves to beat Manchester United @ 3.68

Manchester United are an extremely hard team to pin down at the moment, with trouble in the ranks and shockwaves after the arrival of new boss Ruben Amorim still rippling through the club. While they have looked impressive at times, the Red Devils have lost some crucial games and look to be as disjointed as ever. Wolves are well and truly locked into a relegation battle, but with recent wins over direct rivals, they are looking to climb out of the bottom three. And their current precarious position will spur them on to claim a huge scalp on Thursday, which we back them to do.
