Saturday evening marks the end of the 2024-25 Ligue 1 season.
The final nine fixtures all kick off at the same time and there are still a few things to sort out, namely who will join Montpellier in finishing inside the bottom three. The best Saint-Etienne can hope for is the relegation play-off place, while anything but a win for Le Havre on the final matchday would secure Reims and Angers’ safety.
There is also a battle between Lille, Nice, Strasbourg and Lyon for the final three European qualification places, with Marseille and AS Monaco already securing the guaranteed Champions League places behind title winners Paris Saint-Germain.
Got that? Right, let’s take a look at some online sports betting tips for the upcoming Ligue 1 action, part of the way in which we help people make informed decisions on their football bets.
*All odds are subject to change
Paris Saint-Germain to score over 3.5 goals vs Auxerre @ 2.50
With the Coupe de France and Champions League finals to come after Matchday 34 in Ligue 1, PSG boss Luis Enrique will be eager to make sure his key players are at the top of their game. As such, we expect a strong Parisian team against Auxerre at the Parc des Princes – and that spells danger for the visitors. PSG scored four goals in their last top-flight encounter as a Goncalo Ramos hat-trick secured a 4-1 win at Montpellier. So we are backing the champions to rack up the goals once again on Saturday.
Mika Biereth to score for AS Monaco vs Lens @ 2.28
Biereth has been a revelation at Monaco this season, with the young Danish striker netting 13 goals in 16 Ligue 1 appearances. He has only scored once in his last six outings in the competition, but that has not deterred us one bit here. Biereth started all but one of those games and still looks nailed on to feature from the off at Lens. Furthermore, he has the best conversion rate in the division at 40.62%, with 13 of his 32 shots resulting in goals.
Amine Gouiri to score for Marseille vs Rennes @ 2.36
Now, if you are looking to place a goalscorer bet on a player at the peak of their powers, look no further than Gouiri. While Mason Greenwood has rightly received much of the plaudits thanks to his 19 Ligue 1 goals, his team-mate Gouiri has taken the division by storm in recent weeks. The Algerian scored six goals in the previous three matches, including a hat-trick against Brest. And lest we forget, Gouiri left Rennes to join Marseille back in January, so he will be even more eager to impress.
Nice vs Brest: Draw @ 4.90
Our final tip is by far the riskiest – but we still like the look of it! Nice are bidding to hold on to the Champions League qualifiers place, with Lille on the same points but behind on goal difference. So a victory could be essential for Nice, who have won three of the last four. However, Brest are a tough opponent and are ending the season fairly well, triumphing in the last two against Montpellier and Lille. And while the 2-0 win over the latter would have pleased Nice, Brest may spoil their party on Saturday and condemn them to a place in the Europa League.
