This week sees the fifth round of matches played in both the Championship Round and the Europa Conference League Qualification Round.
There are six magnificent games to enjoy before the fourth instalment of the Relegation Round on the weekend.
But the two top tiers are our focus in this blog, with some sports betting tips – complete with up-to-date football odds – available to view below.

Christos Tzolis to score anytime for Club Brugge vs Union Saint-Gilloise @ 3.20
Tzolis has been superb thus far in the Championship Round, netting four goals in as many appearances. The Greek winger was on target twice in the 5-0 weekend win at Gent, taking his overall tally for the Pro League season to 12. And Club Brugge will need Tzolis at his best to get past USG, who have also won four matches on the bounce – including a 2-1 victory at Genk. So expect fireworks when the two form teams collide in Bruges on Thursday and while we are not confident predicting the match outcome, we are backing Tzolis to continue his hot streak in front of goal.
Anderlecht to beat Gent and both teams NOT to score @ 3.20
This is a meeting between two sides in rotten form, with both teams suffering three defeats in the first four matchdays of the Championship Round. Gent did at least beat Royal Antwerp away from home, who Anderlecht could only muster a 0-0 draw against last weekend. So it is safe to say that there is a lot riding on this match and although neither are playing well, we are picking Anderlecht to get the job done thanks to their unquestionable pedigree in Belgian football. These two have scored a combined total of two goals so far in the play-offs, hence our option to not back the BTTS market.
Tolu Arokodare to score for Genk vs Royal Antwerp @ 2.10
Genk’s defeat at USG was, of course, a hammer blow to their title aspirations. However, manager Thorsten Fink will be encouraged by the fact that star striker Arokodare was on the scoresheet once again, as he continues his charge towards the Golden Boot award. Arokodare has scored 19 goals in the Pro League and looks capable of adding to his tally every single game. We are tipping him to score again vs struggling Antwerp, who are yet to pick up a win in the latest edition of the Championship Round.
Standard Liege vs Leuven: Draw @ 3.17
In case you were unaware, draws have been a common theme in the Europa Conference League Qualification Group. Three of Standard’s four matches thus far have ended with the scores level, while Leuven drew all four of their previous matches – including the entertaining 4-4 vs Dender last time out. Given the fact draws nearly always have great odds in the match result market, it feels like a risk worth taking when it comes to this section of the Pro League play-offs!
