Betting Tips Football Pro League

Jupiler Pro League: Matchday 21 Acca

The Pro League is hotting up and after the packed Christmas schedule things are tighter than ever. Some key wins and losses have dramatically narrowed the field and anything could happen before the close of the season. The title race is wide open, with just one point separating the top two. But with European obligations and key fixtures, who will be the first to slip up? Things are similarly tight at the bottom of the table, with the fight for survival equally intriguing. With plenty of football still to play, it is impossible to tell what the table will look like come the end of the season.

777 Sport has a plethora of Pro League odds, as well as a range of sports betting markets available on our website.

Union Saint Gilloise to beat Charleroi @ 2.15

The room in the Championship Playoff Round is congested and any mistakes will have an effect on the table. And this is a clash that could prove to be extremely significant in the formation of the Pro League. USG sit 5th, just four points above 7th-placed Charleroi. A win could see them enter the Playoffs and change the trajectory of their season, so they will be highly determined hosts. But due to their form and overwhelming quality, we still favour USG to take home all three points this weekend.

Dender vs Gent: Both teams to score @ 1.68

This tie similarly will have implications on the play off race as either team could end the week in the play off spots depending on the outcome. Separated by only three points, Gent cannot afford any slip ups, as this would put their place at risk and result in an extremely panicked race to the finish. Dender however are underdogs and will feel no pressure this weekend as they try to claim a huge scalp and what would be a huge step towards securing a Playoff spot. It is set to be a tense affair – and we think both sides will hit the back of the net!

Club Brugge to beat Anderlecht @ 2.06

Club Brugge are going hard in their chase for the top spot and have clawed their way back to a one-point deficit after defeating leaders Genk over the holidays. Slowing their progress will be extremely difficult as they continue their 12-game unbeaten streak in the league. They are enjoying fine form against high-level opposition in the Champions League too and their squad is immensely talented. This makes them our clear favourites when they face an admittedly top Anderlecht side this matchday.

Cercle Brugge to beat Mechelen @ 2.21

There is no time to be wasted in the relegation battle and all struggling teams need immediate results. This applies to Cercle Brugge, who are just two points from safety. They are within touching distance and we believe this weekend could be the one where they drag themselves out of the bottom four with an upset win over 8th-placed Mechelen. The threat of the drop should be enough to drive Cercle to victory, with Mechelen winless in their last five.
