Club Brugge to beat KRC Genk @ 4.30

It is first vs second in what could be a definitive clash in this year’s edition of the Pro League. Only four points behind leaders Genk, Club Brugge will be looking to close some ground in their bid to top the table and put themselves in an optimal position come the Championship Play-Off rounds. And unbeaten in their last 10 games, we are backing Club Brugge for the underdog victory.

Anderlecht to beat STVV @ 1.99

Anderlecht are firmly in place for the play-off spots and will be hoping to remain there when they visit STVV this weekend. Their opponents are trying to escape the relegation battle, so will without a doubt be ready for a battle. But the form and quality of Anderlecht will likely be too much for them to handle.

Antwerp to beat Mechelen @ 2.53

Both sides are looking to hold on to their place in the Championship Play-Offs, sitting only a few points above the chasers. This means that any spell of bad form could result in a serious dent to their hopes this season. Both have lost three of their last five games and need a win to spark an uptake in results, only further increasing the importance of the fixture. On this occasion, we think Antwerp will have what it takes to get the three points.

Gent to beat Cercle Brugge @ 1.90

Like many other teams we have discussed, Gent are currently sitting in the top half of the table and looking for wins to escape the battle for play-off places and gain some degree of security. They will see this weekend’s tie with 15th-placed Cercle Brugge as a great opportunity to do exactly that. In contrast, Cercle need to start putting points on the board if they want to avoid the Relegation Play-Offs. Sadly, we do not think that will start this week and that Gent will walk away with all three points.
