We’ve taken a look at this weekend’s fixture list and given our predictions to help you with your sports betting. Take a look at our picks and place your football bets online for this round of the Jupiler Pro League calendar.

KV Mechelen vs Standard Liege

Since their embarrassing defeat to Anderlecht, Mechelen have turned things around. They sit 4th in the home form table and have one of the most in-form players in the league with Nikola Storm, who has scored in his last 5 appearances.

Standard have remained inconsistent, losing 3 out of the last 4, only scoring twice in the process. Only two teams in the league have scored fewer goals than M’Baye Leye’s side. Mechelen are in solid form and have won 2 of the last 3 meetings between these sides.

KV Mechelen win @ 2.40

Kortrijk vs Charleroi

Since going unbeaten in their first 7, Charleroi have now lost 2 in a row without scoring. Anass Zaroury has been ineffective in recent weeks and top goalscorer Shamar Nicholson could potentially miss the match through injury. Charleroi’s goals have dried up – this will be problematic against the league’s joint 2nd best defence.

Only Saint Gilloise have conceded fewer than Kortrijk and the home side have lost just once in the last 5. Faiz Selemanie has consistently been the difference maker for his side, directly contributing to 7 of his team’s 12 goals – keep an eye on live betting odds for the Comoros international to find the net. Although in better form, Kotrijk have not beaten Charleroi since 2018 and 2 of the last 3 head-to-heads have ended all square.

Draw @ 3.55

Cercle Brugge vs Saint Gilloise

Cercle Brugge are in trouble. They have lost 5 of their last 6 and picked up just one point at home.

Despite recent defeat to Antwerp, Saint Gilloise look one of the most dangerous teams in the league thanks to their striker partnership. Undav and Vanzeir have combined for 12 of their team’s 17 goals. They also boast the league’s best defensive record with only 9 conceded. Brugge will have to figure out a way of stopping Saint Gilloise’s forwards if they are to stand a chance.

Saint Gilloise win @ 1.71

Sint Truiden vs Oostende

Sint Truiden have looked competent at the back, but only two teams have scored fewer. Can their Japanese strike force of Hayashi and Suzuki get this team firing against a leaky Oostende defence?

Oostende have been an exciting watch. With bundles of young talent on display, the travelling side have looked dynamic going forward, but equally naïve going back. They have kept just one clean sheet in their opening 9 and have conceded 17 goals already. Sint Truiden have won 6 of the last 7 encounters and look a more solid outfit than this erratic Oostende team.

Sint Truiden win @ 2.25

Leuven vs Beerschot VA

Beerschot have had a woeful start to the campaign. Having scored the fewest and conceded the most, the away side are in real trouble of being cut adrift if they lose this one. Poor discipline has not helped their cause, with Beerschot receiving 5 red cards in just 9 games.

Leuven have also struggled this season. A 1-1 draw last time out away to the Champions Club Brugge was a positive and playmaker Xavier Mercier provided his 4th assist of the season. The Frenchman has shown his class in spite of his team’s poor form and should provide enough attacking intent to see his team over the line.

Leuven win @ 2.10

Anderlecht vs Club Brugge

Belgium’s two most decorated sides will meet this weekend in the Jupiler Pro League calendar in a game which could see Club Brugge pull away at the summit. Anderlecht have faltered slightly in recent weeks with two draws in a row and they will be without Christian Koumae, who was sent off last time out.

Club Brugge were also held in their last Pro League fixture against Leuven, but bounced back with a memorable away day in Europe – beating German giants RB Leipzig 2-1. Anderlecht’s midfield pairing of Olsson and Cullen will have their work cut out to contain the adventurous forward runs of Vanaken, Vormer and Rits which are so often the difference-makers for the Champions. There isn’t a lot separating these sides and we think Brugge would take a point.

Draw @ 3.45

Seraing vs Waregem

Seraing have lost their last 3, but they have faced stiff opposition in Liege, Antwerp and Genk. Their over-reliance on French loanee Youssef Maziz has become apparent, with the home side struggling to find goals elsewhere.

Jelle Vossen returned from suspension with yet another goal in Waregem’s recent draw with Kortrijk, a result that left them with just 1 win in 6.  With 12 of Waregem’s 14 goals being scored by their strike partnership of Vossen and Zinho Gano, Seraing face a difficult task in stopping the duo. But it remains to be seen whether the visitors can tighten up enough defensively to start picking up wins.

Draw @ 3.80

Antwerp vs Gent

Antwerp have won their last 4 league games on the bounce and beating Genk and Saint Gilloise in recent weeks. They have scored the joint most goals in the league, with Michael Frey leading the race for top goalscorer with 11 in 9 games. Antwerp face a visit from a Gent side who have won just 1 of their last 4.

Gent have fallen into mid-table mediocracy thus far with inconsistent performances, whereas Antwerp could see themselves top the table by the end of this weekend. The home side are flying and it doesn’t look as if Gent can stop them.

Antwerp win @ 2.80

Eupen vs Genk

2nd face off against 3rd in this exciting match-up between two teams locked on 17 points. Eupen have impressed on the road thus far, but have fallen short at home – picking up just 4 points in 4 games. Only one team has conceded fewer than the home side, but that might be about to change with the league’s joint top goalscorers visiting in this Jupiler Pro League calendar week.

Paul Onuachu has picked up from where he left off last season, scoring 9 in 8 games including a hat-trick last time out against Seraing. The Nigerian is a big enough problem for Eupen to deal with, but Junya Ito and Joseph Paintsil will provide additional headache for Eupen. It looks as if Eupen have over-performed so far, and we think they will be undone by Genk’s superstar attack.

Genk win @ 2.15
