This weekend sees the penultimate matchday of the 2025-26 Jupiler Pro League season take place.
So many positions in the table are still to be decided, including at the top – where Union Saint-Gilloise lead Club Brugge by only three points.
But the race for the final Championship Round spot is where drama is guaranteed, with just one point separating Gent in sixth to Westerlo in ninth.
What a weekend we have in store, and here are our Matchday 29 sports betting picks based on the latest Pro League odds.

Gent to beat Zulte Waregem @ 2.06
The last few weeks in the Pro League have been ones to forget for Zulte Waregem. Four consecutive defeats, the latest of them a 1-0 home loss to Standard Liege, have left them just one point above the Relegation Round places. As for Gent, they have been a mixed bag of late, winning two of the last four and just one of the previous three home games. But last weekend’s home match did see them beat Mechelen 3-1, which is a promising sign. And Zulte Waregem’s woeful form also suggests that it is worth backing the hosts here – especially at a price which is better than evens.
Westerlo vs Club Brugge: Anytime goalscorer – Nicolo Tresoldi @ 2.23
Tresoldi is the talk of Bruges right now after a stellar run of form – including a match-saving brace last weekend against fierce rivals Anderlecht (2-2). The striker has six goals in his last seven Pro League appearances, so betting on him to score just feels like the move to make right now. Westerlo have kept four clean sheets in the previous six top-flight matches, but nevertheless, we are still backing Tresoldi to land yet another decisive blow in his breakthrough season.
Union Saint-Gilloise to score over 1.5 goals vs Dender @ 1.40
It is top vs bottom this weekend, and anything but a convincing home win for USG would come as a major shock. The reigning champions are yet to lose in front of their own fans in the Pro League this season, winning 13 out of 14 matches and averaging over two goals per game. Dender, meanwhile, are the division’s worst-performing team away from home, and should struggle to get anywhere near the hosts. As such, we are backing USG to score at least two goals for the fifth consecutive home match across all competitions.
Mechelen vs Anderlecht: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.71
As mentioned above, Mechelen lost 3-1 at Gent on Matchday 28, meaning this BTTS bet has landed in five of their last seven Pro League games. Anderlecht drew 2-2 at Club Brugge last time out, which followed goal-filled victories over Zulte Waregem (2-4) and OH Leuven (5-1). Goals at both ends have been common for each of these sides in recent weeks, so dipping into the BTTS market here feels like a profitable play.
