Club Brugge vs OH Leuven: Total goals – Over 2.5 @ 1.62
Club Brugge will be feeling good about themselves after a thrilling match against Atletico, with Christos Tzolis’ stoppage-time goal levelling the scores at 3-3. But Leko’s men need to refocus for the visit of Leuven, who have won each of the last two in the Pro League against Gent and Dender (3-2). Goals at both ends have not been hard to come by in Leuven’s recent matches, while eight of Club Brugge’s previous nine top-flight matches have seen at least three scored. As such, the over 2.5 selection here looks a wise bet to make this weekend.
STVV to beat Dender @ 2.14
At better than evens, betting on another win for STVV might just be the best Pro League selection of the weekend. Second-placed STVV have won four of the last five after beating Zulte Waregem 3-2 last time out, while rock-bottom Dender are on a run of three consecutive defeats. And while Dender may possess home advantage here, the fact remains that STVV won each of their last three Pro League games on the road vs Westerlo (0-4), La Louviere (1-2) and Standard Liege (1-2). Another away victory looks firmly on the cards for Wouter Vrancken’s side.
Zulte Waregem vs Anderlecht: Draw @ 3.40
We finish by backing a draw in one of the tougher matches to call this weekend. Hosts Zulte Waregem have lost three of the last four and are only just above the Relegation Round places, while Anderlecht have failed to win any of the last five, losing three of those matches. With the end of the regular season fast approaching, expect this to be a tense, cagey affair, as each team looks to avoid suffering another damaging defeat.
