We are approaching the end of the Jupiler Pro League regular season for 2025-26.
Only six matches remain before the division breaks up into separate play-off groups, which only enhances the importance of the upcoming fixtures.

Mechelen vs Genk: Draw @ 3.50
Friday night’s game has the potential to be an absolute cracker, as two teams with Championship Round aspirations lock horns. Mechelen got back to winning ways last weekend by beating Royal Antwerp 2-0, while Genk made it two consecutive top-flight victories with their 2-0 success over Anderlecht. Mechelen currently sit fifth in the table, four points ahead of Genk in eighth. There really is not much between the sides, though it is fair to say there is more pressure on Genk given the gap – a gap we think will stay at four points courtesy of a draw.
Union Saint-Gilloise to beat Standard Liege @ 1.74
USG are into the Croky Cup final after thrashing Charleroi 4-1 at home in the second leg of their semi-final tie. It was a momentous evening for David Hubert’s team, one which should put them in good stead for the remainder of the campaign. The Pro League table-toppers face the always tough trip to Standard this weekend, though the side from Liege are in a bit of a rut, losing four of the last five after a 3-0 defeat at Club Brugge last time out. Standard’s lack of goals is becoming a real concern, and with USG unbeaten in the league since November 30, the visitors should have more than enough to claim all three points.
STVV to beat Zulte Waregem @ 1.75
STVV remain four points behind USG as we approach the climax of the regular season. STVV have won four of the last five in the Pro League following a 4-0 success at Westerlo, a result which still came as a bit of a surprise despite their good form. Returning to home soil this weekend with 11th-placed Zulte Waregem in their sights, STVV should enjoy another comfortable day of work here. Zulte Waregem did beat Dender 1-0 in their previous match, though three defeats in the last five is far from ideal preparation for facing one of the division’s best sides. A repeat of STVV’s 2-0 win in Waregem from August looks on the cards!
OH Leuven to beat Dender @ 2.03
Westerlo’s heavy defeat has given OH Leuven a real chance of avoiding the Relegation Round, especially after their 3-1 win at Gent on Matchday 24. The gap between the sides is now only three points, and with Westerlo facing a tricky trip to Royal Antwerp on Sunday, the time is now for Leuven to strike. Dender have lost the last two in the Pro League and appear resigned to finishing bottom of the table in the regular season. Leuven won 1-0 in Dender back in August, and we are tipping them to make it consecutive victories in this season.
