The Jupiler Pro League is back with a bang this weekend after all the exciting midweek European action.
And this week’s schedule features a huge match, as leaders Union Saint-Gilloise host fellow title challengers Club Brugge.
We will be previewing that fixture in a separate blog, one packed full of detail – as always!
But before that, here are the rest of our Pro League betting picks for the weekend, all of them featuring the latest online football odds.
*All odds are subject to change
STVV to beat Charleroi @ 2.10
STVV have put themselves firmly in the title picture in recent weeks, recording four consecutive wins to move above Club Brugge and just one point behind USG. STVV have won the last two on the road following last weekend’s 2-1 success at La Louviere, and have triumphed in each of the last five at home – including a 3-2 victory over Club Brugge. Charleroi are also in fabulous form, on a run of three consecutive wins and with the Championship Round places in sight. So this promises to be a fascinating encounter, but with home advantage, we are backing STVV to collect the points.
Dender to beat Genk @ 3.90
We are backing the underdog in yet another intriguing Pro League fixture. Dender have been battling hard at the bottom of the table in recent weeks, and are currently unbeaten in three games after a brilliant 1-0 win over Royal Antwerp was followed by a credible 0-0 draw at Anderlecht. Back on home soil for this match, Dender can certainly record their fourth win of the campaign. Genk are really struggling and without a victory in five league games, two of those being defeats. And the physical demands of playing Europa League football may further hamper them here.
Standard Liege vs Anderlecht: Total goals – Under 2.5 @ 1.78
While historically two of Belgium’s biggest clubs, the latest edition of Standard Liege vs Anderlecht is a meeting between sides who cannot buy a win. Neither team has won a Pro League match in 2026, with Standard losing four of the last five and Anderlecht without a victory in the previous four fixtures. Confidence levels in both camps must be shot to pieces, which may pave the way for a cagey match in Liege. Standard are not renowned for their goal-scoring prowess, netting only 10 in 11 home matches – the third-worst record in the division. Furthermore, Anderlecht have scored just 12 goals in 10 away matches, hence why we are backing a low-scoring contest.
Gent to beat La Louviere @ 2.75
Gent are certainly a team on the rise in the Pro League. Three consecutive wins has seen them move into the Championship Round spots, currently sitting fifth with a two-point buffer to Charleroi in seventh. So this match represents a huge opportunity for Gent, especially as La Louviere occupy a place in the bottom four, winning just one of their last five Pro League games. And it is an opportunity we think Gent will grab with both hands, perhaps emulating their 1-0 home triumph over La Louviere back in August.
