Formula 1 action returns to television screens across the world this weekend with the exciting Dutch Grand Prix at the Circuit Zandvoort.
The latest race on the F1 calendar comes just over three weeks after the Hungarian GP, which was won by McLaren’s Lando Norris.
Can anyone stop McLaren in the Netherlands? It will take something very special, but never rule out local hero Max Verstappen in front of a home crowd.
Below, we preview the latest edition of the famous Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix, featuring the latest sports betting online odds.
Dutch Grand Prix Preview
Norris and Oscar Piastri claimed another one-two finish in Hungary at the start of the month, cementing their places at the top of the Driver’s Championship – with Piastri just nine points clear at the summit.
Naturally, the superstar pair are the favourites to win this race, especially after Norris won the 2024 edition.
But what makes Formula 1 so great is the element of unpredictability and this is an event which has delivered plenty of sporting drama since its return to the calendar following a 35-year hiatus.
It is also a race which has been previously dominated by Dutch icon Verstappen, with the Red Bull driver finishing 1st in 2021, 2022 and 2023, as well as 2nd in 2024.
He clearly loves the track and is a born winner, so write off current world champion Max at your own peril.
Interestingly, this is a race which Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton has never won, which is quite a rarity given his achievements in the sport.
Hamilton is yet to win a GP this season, so it would be quite fitting if his first were to be a maiden victory in the Netherlands.
Elsewhere on the grid, Hamilton’s team-mate Charles Leclerc could challenge the big three, while Mercedes’ George Russell should never be ruled out of contention after his sensational victory in Canada back in June.

Dutch Grand Prix Betting Tips
Top 2 Finish – Max Verstappen @ 3.00
Verstappen is a three-time Dutch GP winner and finished 2nd last year, so this market could represent fantastic value. The Red Bull driver has won two races this season, which is impressive given the ridiculous form of the McLaren pair.
Fastest Lap and Win the Race – Lando Norris @ 4.75
Last year, Norris set the fastest lap in the Netherlands on his way to a GP victory. If you fancy history to repeat itself this weekend, the odds look pretty good!
