Norwich vs Newcastle
Defeat for Norwich in their last outing has left them seven points adrift of safety with just six games to go. Things don’t get any easier as they prepare to host a Newcastle side that know a win could all but secure their top-flight status after a tumultuous campaign. It seems to have clicked for Eddie Howe’s Magpies, with their performances and results impressive since the January transfer window. Chris Wood is looking more and more like an intelligent purchase, whilst Bruno Guimaraes is showing glimpses of brilliance that were highlighted at Lyon.

A win over their rivals this weekend would secure Bayern a 10th consecutive league title and leave Dortmund as probable runners-up for a third season in the last four. St. Etienne could well be dragged down into the bottom three this weekend as they welcome a high-flying Monaco side to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard. A run of four straight wins has lifted the visitors to within just three points of the Champions League qualification places, with everything still to play for in Ligue 1 heading into the final stretch of the campaign.
Wissam Ben Yedder has hit form at a crucial time in the season, with his brace against PSG kickstarting a run of four goals in as many games. Our football prediction is to expect a tight affair, but Monaco have the superior quality throughout and we expect this to show over 90 minutes.

Lazio vs AC Milan
Despite league top goalscorer Ciro Immobile’s best efforts, it looks like Lazio will miss out on a top four finish this season. They are however locked in a battle with Fiorentina and Roma for a Europa League spot, and dropped points this weekend could see them surrender the initiative to their rivals. The hosts will prepare for a visit from a Milan side that currently sit at the summit of Serie A, with a win pivotal in ensuring they maintain a lead over Inter.
Milan have not exactly been setting the world alight in front of goal, but have instead taken an impressive defence-first approach, which places them slightly ahead in our football predictions. Stefano Pioli’s side have kept six consecutive league clean sheets, and if they are to win the title, it truly will be in classic Italian style.
