Hoffenheim vs Leverkusen
Leverkusen are quietly having an impressive campaign littered with breakout seasons for young talent. They are on track to finish third after kicking on in the second half of the season – only Bayern have picked up more points in the last 20 games – and if they can avoid losing all their superstars in the summer, they are set for another competitive year when the Bundesliga returns. Their away record is bettered only by the champions, and they will be favourites in the football predictions as they travel to face a Hoffenheim side without a win in seven.
Leverkusen win – 2.05
Real Betis vs Barcelona
Betis followed up their monumental Copa del Rey win with an uninspired 0-0 draw at Getafe as the pursuit of Champions League football continues. They did manage to best the Spanish giants in the reverse fixture at the Camp Nou, but Xavi has turned things around somewhat in Catalonia. Barcelona sit comfortably within the top four, and although it’s been a hugely disappointing season, Champions League football should ensure they can attract the best talent to help bridge the gap on Real Madrid next season. The football predictions have the visitors as favourites, and their quality should be enough to see them pick up all three points on the road.

Lorient vs Marseille
Despite a 3-0 defeat to Lyon in their last league outing, Marseille are still favourites to finish in the top two and secure Champions League football for next season. They have the best away record in the league as they prepare to travel to face a Lorient side that has lost three of their last four. The hosts’ ability to beat those beneath them has kept them above the relegation zone, but our football prediction is that they won’t have too much joy this weekend. The visitors have won five straight games against Lorient and haven’t been beaten by them since 2015.
Marseille win – 1.95
Verona vs AC Milan
Just three games stand in the way of AC Milan’s first Serie A title in over a decade, one which would see them equal Inter’s 19. A run of 13 league games without defeat has left them in pole position, and a fourth consecutive win this weekend would take them one step closer. Verona have lost just twice in their last 11, but our football prediction is that Milan will grind out a closely fought win. The stakes have not been this high for the visitors since the 2010/11 campaign, and when you consider that a defeat would hand the initiative to their closest rivals, you’d expect them to come flying out the gates this Sunday.
