We have reached the quarter-final stage of the FIFA Club World Cup, with the action getting underway on Friday evening.
Five European teams remain in the competition in Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, with a strong non-European contingent made up of Fluminense, Al-Hilal and Palmeiras.

Fluminense to beat Al-Hilal @ 2.79
The only remaining clash between two teams based outside of Europe has the potential to be a classic. Al-Hilal claimed a dramatic 4-3 win against Manchester after extra-time in the Round of 16, while Fluminense – marshalled by veteran defender Thaigo Silva – beat Inter Milan 2-0 to reach this stage. Picking a winner in this tie is difficult given how evenly matched the teams look on paper, but with Fluminense enjoying a bit more rest ahead of kick-off, we are choosing to side with the Brazilians.
Estevao Willian to score or assist for Palmeiras vs Chelsea @ 2.88
In case you were unaware, Estevao – a teenager who is widely regarded as one of football’s brightest talents – will join Chelsea from Palmeiras once this tournament is concluded. The 18-year-old is cleared to play in this quarter-final tie and with such a storyline behind him, it feels like a goal or an assist from the Brazilian starlet is firmly on the cards. Estevao has impressed at the tournament thus far, while Chelsea conceded three goals the last time they faced a team from South America – a 3-1 loss to Flamengo in the group stage.
Paris Saint-Germain to beat Bayern Munich and both teams to score @ 3.47
This looks like a blockbuster quarter-final clash, a meeting between two of the best teams in Europe. In fact, PSG are the Champions League holders, while Bayern strolled to yet another Bundesliga title in 2024-25. Both impressed in the Round of 16, with PSG thrashing Inter Miami 4-0 and Bayern seeing off a quality Flamengo team with a 4-2 victory. We expect plenty of goals when these two sides collide, with PSG’s additional quality in midfield and attack eventually steering them to a narrow victory.
Jude Bellingham to score or assist for Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund @ 1.95
Unfortunately, we will not see the two Bellingham’s battle against each other, as Jobe picked up another yellow card in Dortmund’s 2-1 win over Monterrey and will now serve a suspension. Jude must be disappointed by that fact, although the Real Madrid star will certainly be far more focused on guiding his team to the semi-finals. Of course, this is also a match against his former side and with a goal and an assist already under the belt at the Club World Cup, we fancy Jude to have a major say in this all-European clash.
