The new-look FIFA Club World Cup is in full swing, with some of the best teams on the planet already locking horns in some fascinating matches.
With Matchday 1 of the group stage shortly coming to a close, it is time to take a look at the second round of fixtures.
Below, you will find some online sports betting tips for your football bets that are focused on four of these intriguing contests, which will be played out over the weekend.
*All odds are subject to change
Lionel Messi to score anytime for Inter Miami vs Porto @ 2.88
Inter Miami are looking to get their Club World Cup campaign up and running after a disappointing 0-0 draw with Al-Ahly on Matchday 1. Porto are a tougher opponent on paper, but we are backing the MLS outfit and their main man to rise to the occasion here. Messi has scored 10 goals in 13 league matches this year and the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner still has the quality to breach even the toughest defences.
Chelsea to beat Flamengo and over 2.5 goals in the match @ 2.75
This could be one of the standout matches on Matchday 2 at the Club World Cup, because Flamengo can certainly spring a surprise here. The Brazilian side won their opening match, beating ES Tunis 2-0 in a pretty convincing display. Chelsea beat Los Angeles FC 2-0 on Matchday 1, and they are understandably the favourites. But we expect Flamengo to have a major say in this contest, hence why we are backing at least three goals to be scored – which is a great way to boost those odds on a win for the Premier League side!
Michael Olise to score anytime for Bayern Munich vs Boca Juniors @ 2.54
Olise got his 2025 Club World Cup campaign off to the perfect start with a first-half brace in the 10-0 win over Auckland City. The French winger scored 12 goals and assisted 15 more in the 2024-25 Bundesliga campaign, so we are not quite sure why his odds to score anytime against Boca Juniors are so generous. The Argentine outfit are, of course, a step up in level compared to Auckland City, evidenced by a deserved 2-2 draw with Benfica. But Bayern and Olise should still be far too strong for the South Americans at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Desire Doue to score anytime for Paris Saint-Germain vs Botafogo @ 2.50
Doue surprisingly missed out on the goalscoring in PSG’s impressive 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Matchday 1. But everyone knows how prolific the 20-year-old can be, with his two-goal heroics in the Champions League final still fresh in mind. Botafogo were far from convincing in their opening match as they beat Seattle Sounders 2-1, so we would be shocked to see anything but a goal-filled victory for the Parisians. And yes, one in which Doue finds the target!
