European club football is back on our television screens this weekend following the international break.
The English Premier League is on hold until next week, with the FA Cup quarter-finals instead taking centre stage.
So we are going to focus on the continent’s four other major divisions; La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.
Below are some betting Belgium tips for football betting online, featuring some intriguing goalscorer bets!
*All odds are subject to change
Kylian Mbappe to be Real Madrid’s first goalscorer vs Leganes @ 2.50
It is safe to say Mbappe has found his feet in Madrid after a summer transfer from Paris Saint-Germain. France’s captain is second in the La Liga scoring charts with 20 goals and he will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing 18th-placed Leganes, who have conceded 43 times in the league this season. Mbappe has scored first for Los Blancos in each of the last two La Liga matches, the 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano and the 2-1 comeback victory at Villarreal before the international break.
Roma to be winning at half-time and full-time vs Lecce @ 2.52
In case you were unaware, Roma are the form team in Serie A heading into this weekend. Claudio Ranieri’s side have won five on the spin in the Italian top flight and are now just four points off the Top 4. As for hosts Lecce, they are edging ever closer to the relegation zone after losing four consecutive league matches. Taking recent results into account, we fancy Roma to dominate this match from start to finish and keep pace with those above them, who at this point in time are fierce rivals Lazio and out-of-sorts Juventus.
Mainz to beat Borussia Dortmund and both teams to score @ 7.60
Okay, this is by far our riskiest European football tip for the weekend, but hear us out. Domestically, this season has been one to forget for Champions League quarter-finalists Dortmund, who are 11th in the Bundesliga with the same number of defeats to their name. In contrast, Mainz are flying high in third, tallying four wins in the last five, a run which includes a 2-1 win at RB Leipzig. We think they can pull off a similar result in front of the Yellow Wall, with Dortmund’s last home match seeing them beaten 1-0 by Augsburg.
Ousmane Dembele to be PSG’s first goalscorer vs Saint-Etienne @ 2.88
PSG are at odds of 1.14 to win this weekend, so we have decided to take a look at the goalscorer market to find better value. Luis Enrique’s side are yet to lose in Ligue 1 this season, winning 21 of 26 matches and scoring a ridiculous 73 goals in the process. The main man in the forward department has been Ballon d’Or contender Ousmane Dembele, who is leading the Golden Boot race with 21 strikes. After netting a crucial aggregate equaliser in France’s second-leg comeback against Croatia in the Nations League, his confidence levels will be higher than ever. So Saint-Etienne’s porous defence – which has been breached 57 times already – may find Dembele impossible to contain from the outset.
