European Football Weekend Accumulator

Our expert tipster has pulled together another net-busting acca ahead of a bumper weekend of football in Europe’s top divisions.

In the Premier League, Brentford will bid to pile the misery on under-fire Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, while Chelsea are fancied to upset pacesetters Liverpool.

Elsewhere, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich host Stuttgart in what should be a routine victory for Vincent Kompany’s title-chasing side.

With Napoli travelling to Empoli and Barcelona welcoming Sevilla to the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, our man’s five picks could net a small fortune from just a €5 stake with a 5% boost.

Brentford to beat Manchester United – 4.60

After picking up just two points from their last three outings, United will be desperate to get back to winning ways at Old Trafford. Worryingly for Ten Hag, the Red Devils have not scored in the league since a 3-0 win at Southampton in mid-September. In contrast, Brentford put five past Wolves before the international break and will fancy their chances of picking up a win in Manchester.

Bayern Munich to beat Stuttgart – 1.35

Bayern remain unbeaten in the Bundesliga but their progress slowed somewhat before the international break. Draws against Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt have made Saturday’s home clash with Stuttgart even more important, particularly with RB Leipzig hot on their heels. The visitors have only lost once in the league but are not expected to give Kompany’s men too many problems at the Allianz Arena.

Napoli to beat Empoli – 1.66

Antonio Conte continues to work his magic at Napoli and Sunday’s trip to Empoli should not be a banana skin. Since a 3-0 drubbing at Verona in their Serie A curtain-raiser, Conte’s side have dropped just two points in their quest to win the title. Empoli start the weekend in mid-table but the form book suggests the home fans will head home disappointed.

Chelsea to beat Liverpool – 4.60

Like their hosts, Chelsea have lost just once in the league this season. They trail Liverpool by four points but head to Anfield in high spirits after boss Enzo Maresca and star man Cole Palmer picked up the Manager of the Month and Player of the Month awards for September. The suggestion of an away win may raise eyebrows, particularly on Merseyside, but Maresca’s men are buzzing.

Barcelona to beat Sevilla – 1.28

While Sevilla will be no pushovers, Barcelona have been in imperious form this season. With just one league defeat so far, Hansi Flick’s side appear destined for title glory. They have netted a staggering 28 goals in nine La Liga outings and conceded only nine — just under half of which came in the 4-2 defeat at Osasuna. Flick will expect nothing more than three points at Barca’s temporary home.
