Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth
Bournemouth come into this game having just sacked their manager after three consecutive defeats. There aren’t too many trickier places to go than the City Ground for a team in turmoil. Following victory over West Ham and a draw against Everton, Forest went toe-to-toe with Spurs and were very impressive at times. They ultimately lost the game, but they enjoyed more of the ball and carved out plenty of decent chances against Antonio Conte’s side. Our football prediction is that things get worse for the Cherries before they get better, and it looks as if a relegation battle is unavoidable.

Reims vs Lens
Lens continue to be undervalued this season and every game they seem to perform. This season’s resume already features wins over Champions League challengers Monaco and Rennes, and their eyes will be firmly set on those at the top. This weekend they travel to face a Reims team that have struggled to get going in the opening few games and have one of the worst defensive records in Ligue 1. Lens won both fixtures against Reims last season, and our football prediction is that they pick up another three points on the road.

Udinese vs AS Roma
Roma have enjoyed an impressive undefeated start to the new Serie A campaign under Jose Mourinho. Our football prediction is that they continue their fine form this weekend as they travel to Udine. The hosts have had a mixed start to the campaign, but they don’t tend to fare well in meetings with Giallorossi. In their last 10 visits to the Dacia Arena – stretching back around a decade – Roma have been victorious on seven occasions, losing just once. When you factor in the levels of their performance this season, it’s difficult to bet against them continuing their run at the summit.
AS Roma win – 1.83
Valencia vs Getafe
These two sides have had poor starts to the season. Valencia picked up all three points on matchday one, but have since lost tough fixtures against Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid. Our football prediction is that the hosts bounce back this weekend against a Getafe side that have picked up just a single point and found the net just once in three games. The visitors narrowly avoided relegation last year, and they will be among the favourites to go down once more in the 2022/23 campaign. Things don’t get any easier as they prepare for a match against a Valencia side that is sure to hit form sooner rather than later.
