Our first football prediction comes from Germany where RB Leipzig look to continue climbing the Bundesliga table this weekend against Hoffenheim. Only Bayern Munich have accumulated more points than Leipzig in the last five games, with the visitors now undefeated in nine matches in all competitions. Christopher Nkunku is back to his best and has netted in three consecutive matches ahead of this tie, levelling him with Bremen’s Niclas Fullkrug as the division’s top goalscorer.
Just one victory in six league games has seen Hoffenheim slip out of the European spots. The hosts have only won once in their last nine meetings with this week’s opposition, with Leipzig favourites to pick up another three points.

Atalanta vs Napoli
League leaders Napoli travel to face second place Atalanta in a crucial top of the table battle on Saturday. Eight successive Serie A wins have seen Napoli extend their lead at the summit to five points, and our football prediction is for the visitors to continue that fine form at Gewiss Stadium. The visitors are undefeated since the start of the season and have won an incredible 13 straight matches in all competitions.
It will be a huge test for both of these clubs, but one which we can see Napoli passing with flying colours. Victor Osimhen has rediscovered his shooting boots and netted six goals in his last four appearances – the Nigerian striker looks unplayable.

Angers vs Lens
Lens might be the only legitimate challenger to PSG’s crown this season. They trail the Ligue 1 champions by five points after losing just once this season. Lens have the joint best defensive record in the league and will be strong favourites on the road against rock-bottom Angers.
The hosts have lost five consecutive matches – conceding 13 in the process – and already find themselves four points away from safety. Angers have the worst defensive record in the league by a distance, with our football prediction for Lens to inflict another defeat on the relegation-threatened side.

Real Betis vs Sevilla
With every week that passes by Sevilla are looking in more and more trouble. They are one of four teams tied on 10 points as they hover just above the relegation zone, with two teams below them having a game in hand. Things don’t get any easier for Jorge Sampaoli’s team, who travel to face fourth place Real Betis on matchday 13.
Only Barcelona have won more points on home soil than Betis, with the hosts having been victorious in five of their six games at Estadio Benito Villamarin. Our football prediction is that the Champions League-chasing Betis rub salt into the Sevilla wounds this weekend.
