Dortmund vs RB Leipzig
This Friday night clash could be pivotal, not only in the battle for the top four, but in the race for the Bundesliga title. Dortmund are level on points with Bayern, while fourth place RB Leipzig remain just four points adrift. The hosts look to have the slight edge based on their scintillating form since the return of domestic football in Germany.
No team has picked up more points than Dortmund in the last 10 league games, with Edin Terzic’s side on a nine-match winning streak in 2023. RB Leipzig are also in impressive form, but have performed far better at home. Their 26 points collected on the road ranks them as the Bundesliga’s best home team, while just 16 away from home ranks them sixth. This should be a cracking watch in which Dortmund continue their incredible momentum.

Nice vs AJ Auxerre
Next up in our football predictions, we’re over in France, where Nice host Auxerre. Nice have won more points than any Ligue 1 team in the last five matches and are unbeaten in their previous eight. This run includes victories over three of the top four, Lens, Monaco and Marseille. They are quickly closing in on the European spots and should claim another three points this weekend.
Auxerre may have improved somewhat in recent weeks, but only Angers have won fewer points away from home this campaign. On the road, Auxerre have the second least prolific attack and second worst defensive record.

Fiorentina vs AC Milan
After a dreadful start to 2023, AC Milan look to be somewhere back to their best. They have won four consecutive matches in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in all four. There is minimal chance of them catching Napoli at the Serie A summit, but they have plenty to play for as the race for Champions League football heats up.
Fiorentina have struggled for consistency this campaign, with the departure of Dusan Vlahovic leaving them struggling to find goals. They would have fancied their chances in this tie a few weeks ago, but the recent Milan improvements have seen them emerge as slight favourites.
AC Milan to win – 2.45
Atletico Madrid vs Sevilla
After an uninspired start to the season, Atletico Madrid have been difficult to beat since the World Cup. They have lost just once in 12 matches since the return of domestic football, picking up a solid point at the Bernabeu last weekend. Diego Simeone’s side have only lost three times at the Metropolitano this campaign, with two of those coming against Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Following a slight peak in form, Sevilla were beaten once again by Osasuna last time out. We’re backing Atletico in our football predictions, with Sevilla having lost three of their last four away games.
