The Europa League semi-finals are firmly tilted in favour of the Premier League sides ahead of Thursday’s second legs.

So, what have the second legs got in store for us? We will soon find out and below are some Europa League online sports betting tips, which you can use in your midweek football bets.
Europa League Odds
*All odds are subject to change
Fuelled by a huge lead and home advantage, United are the favourites to win the second leg at 2.07. A Bilbao victory is priced at 3.32, while the draw is 3.50.
Spurs are slight favourites to make it a third consecutive win in the Europa League at a price of 2.22. A Bodo/Glimt triumph on home soil is at odds of 2.75, while the draw here is 3.91.
Manchester United vs Athletic Bilbao – Best Bets
Player to score or assist – Bruno Fernandes @ 1.91
Fernandes has been playing like a man possessed in recent Europa League matches. The Portuguese has scored or assisted in each of the last four, tallying six goals and an assist. Overall in this competition, Fernandes boasts seven goals and four assists in 12 appearances, so it is extremely rare for him not to contribute in the final third. After a potentially tie-defining brace at San Mames last week, we are backing United’s skipper and talisman to deliver another decisive blow at Old Trafford.
Over 1.5 goals in the first half @ 2.80
Bilbao need to score in the first half to stand any chance of a comeback – and you would not put it past the likes of Nico or Inaki Williams to deliver. However, the Spanish side are almost certain to leave gaps to exploit in defence, such is the need to find goals. United’s attack can look to take advantage and kill the tie in the opening 45 minutes, hence why we are tipping a goal-filled first half in Manchester.
Bodo/Glimt vs Tottenham – Best Bets
Player to score or assist – Kasper Hogh @ 2.00
Hogh is the joint-top scorer in the Europa League with seven goals and a lot of pressure will be on his shoulders in Norway. The Danish striker should benefit from key team-mates returning from suspension, particularly captain Patrick Berg, who knits the team together from his defensive midfield role. We will see something close to Bodo/Glimt’s strongest XI and as such, Hogh may have a major role to play in the second leg.
Both teams to score between 1-30 minutes – Yes @ 5.55
Okay, this tip is a risk, but hear us out. An early goal for Bodo/Glimt completely changes the outlook of the tie, while an early strike for Spurs effectively ends the match as a contest and books them a place in the final. So rather than a cagey first half hour, a regular theme in any semi-final second leg, we may very well see two teams going all-out-attack in search of a precious early goal.
