Manchester United to beat FCSB @ 1.61
Ruben Amorim’s United side is beginning to show signs of revival thanks to back-to-back victories. A 2-1 win over Rangers on Matchday 7 was followed by a 1-0 success at Fulham in the Premier League. With the quality available to the manager, we expect the Red Devils to finish their League Phase campaign with a crucial win in Romania. If they emerge victorious, United will automatically qualify for the last 16. FCSB are unbeaten in four in this competition, though, so it should be a very entertaining match!
Rangers to beat Union Saint-Gilloise @ 2.13
Rangers need a win on Matchday 8 to stand a chance of making it into the Top 8 and avoiding the play-offs. It won’t be easy against a USG side which is performing well in the Jupiler Pro League and on a run of three consecutive wins in the Europa League. However, Rangers are always dangerous on home soil, evidenced by a 4-0 win over FCSB at Ibrox on Matchday 3. We are backing the Scottish side to produce another memorable European night for their loyal fans.
Galatasaray to beat Ajax @ 2.46
A fascinating clash between two European heavyweights. Galatasaray looked on course for a Top 8 finish, but three consecutive draws means they enter Matchday 8 in 9th place. Ajax are back in 16th having lost their last three matches, so both are in need of a big performance in Amsterdam. It is a hard game to call in truth, but Galatasaray’s noticeable firepower in the form of world-class striker Victor Osimhen means we are siding with the Turkish outfit in what could be Thursday’s standout fixture.
Anderlecht to beat Hoffenheim @ 2.18
Domestically, Anderlecht have been below par this season (by their lofty standards) and they are in danger of ending their Europa League campaign with a whimper. Last week’s 2-0 defeat to Viktoria Plzen leaves them 7th in the table and dangerously close to slipping into the play-off positions. But after a 4-1 win over Mechelen on the weekend, Anderlecht can bounce back in style against a Hoffenheim side with just one win in the Europa League and minimal hope of making it into the play-off places.
