Europa League: Matchday 4 Acca

Only three teams boast perfect records heading into Matchday 4 of the Europa League group stage.

With Lazio, Tottenham and Anderlecht separated by goal difference alone, all eyes will be on them on Thursday night.

Not surprisingly, the leading pack feature alongside Rangers and Ajax in our expert tipster’s latest acca.

If all five picks come good, a €5 stake boosted by 8% could return a very tidy sum.

Tottenham to beat Galatasaray – 2.56

Buoyed by back-to-back wins on home soil, Tottenham head to Galatasaray looking for a fourth successive victory in Europe. Last week’s 2-1 Carabao Cup win over Manchester City was followed by a 4-1 drubbing of Aston Villa in the Premier League — and Ange Postecoglou will be confident of ending Galatasaray’s unbeaten run in the group stage. The hosts have picked up seven points from their first three games but the cauldron awaiting in Istanbul is unlikely to phase Spurs.

Rangers to beat Olympiacos – 3.87

Olympiacos and Rangers sit level on six points after picking up two wins from their opening three games. The Gers boast a superior goal difference, however, despite being hammered 4-1 at home by Lyon on Matchday 2. Although Philippe Clement’s men are well off the pace in the Scottish Premiership, our man in the know is confident they will have enough in the locker to leave Greece with three points.

Ajax to beat Maccabi Tel Aviv – 1.35

It will take an almighty upset for the visitors to leave Amsterdam with anything less than their tail between their legs. Without a single point on the board, Maccabi Tel Aviv have endured a nightmare start in the group stage. After battling their way through the qualifiers, Zarko Lazetic’s side have been beaten by Braga, Midtjylland and Real Sociedad. Ajax, on the other hand, have picked up seven points courtesy of a 4-0 win over Besiktas, a 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague and a 3-0 success at Qarabag.

Anderlecht to beat Rigas FS – 1.72

While they may be plagued by inconsistency in the Jupiler Pro League, Anderlecht have been in fine form in Europe. Having advanced through the qualifiers, the Belgian side kicked off their group campaign with a 2-1 win over Ferencvaros. That was followed by a 2-1 victory at Real Sociedad and a 2-0 home success over Ludogorets. Compare that to the home side, who have managed to secure just a point so far, and it is nigh impossible to look beyond an away win.

Lazio to beat Porto – 2.45

Table-topping Lazio have already brushed aside Dynamo Kyiv, Nice and FC Twente, conceding just one goal in the process. So a home clash with Porto, who have picked up four points from nine, is unlikely to worry them. The hosts also go into this fixture on the back of three straight wins in Serie A, where they currently sit fifth. While Porto will be no pushovers, another victory appears to be on the cards for Marco Baroni’s men.
