The Europa League returns this week with the revamped group stage likely to raise some eyebrows.
As with UEFA’s other European cup competitions this season, clubs will play eight matches each as they battle it out in a 36-team league.
After playing four games at home and four away against different opponents, the top eight sides will advance directly to the last 16.
Teams finishing from ninth to 24th in the table will contest the knockout round play-offs, with the victors qualifying for the next stage.
Ahead of Matchday 1, we have pulled together an acca that could return more than €1,000 from a €5 stake with a 5% boost.

Twente to beat Manchester United – 8.70
Manchester United have not enjoyed the best of starts in the Premier League and will be desperate to make amends in Europe. But visitors Twente head to Old Trafford in high spirits and appear primed to pull off a shock having won their last Eredivisie outing 5-0 at Almere.
Anderlecht to beat Ferencvarosi – 1.94
After enjoying a good start to the season, Anderlecht have been in freefall in recent weeks. They have picked up just one point from their last four Pro League outings and will be desperate to stop the rot against Ferencvarosi. The visitors have yet to lose in the Hungarian top flight this term but we expect Anderlecht to bounce back under interim boss David Hubert.
Dynamo Kyiv to beat Lazio – 3.59
Dynamo Kyiv are riding high in the Ukrainian top flight and it is hard to look past a win for Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s side. With 16 points from six league games, Dynamo will be determined to open their Europa League campaign with a victory after failing to qualify for the Champions League group stage. Lazio will be no pushovers but are likely to come up short at the Volksparkstadion.
Rangers to beat Malmo – 2.98
Malmo may be flying high in the Swedish top flight but we have a feeling Rangers can pull off an upset. The Gers have won four of their last five matches in all competitions and should be able to use the disappointment of missing out on qualifying for the Champions League group stage as motivation to pick up a precious victory on the road.
Tottenham to beat Qarabag – 1.14
While an away win would not be the biggest shock in the world, we have given Tottenham the benefit of the doubt despite their unconvincing start to the season. Ange Postecoglou’s side have picked up just seven points from five Premier League outings but home advantage should give them the edge against Qarabag.
