Porto vs Nottingham Forest Preview
These two sides actually met in the League Phase of the competition, with Forest winning 2-0 at the City Ground back in October thanks to penalties from Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus.
But Vitor Pereira will be well aware that a trip to the iconic Estadio Dragao in the knockout stage represents a far tougher assignment.
Porto beat Stuttgart 2-0 at home before the international break to secure a 3-1 aggregate win in their last-16 tie.
Although, it is important to highlight that Porto’s last game at the Dragao was a 2-2 draw with Famalicao, perhaps suggesting some vulnerability in Francesco Farioli’s squad.
But Porto are still top of the Portuguese top flight, five points clear of Sporting Lisbon with just one defeat to their name.
That is in stark contrast to Forest, who are battling for survival at the bottom of the Premier League table.
However, the Tricky Trees arrive in Portugal on the back of arguably their biggest result of the season so far, a 3-0 win at fellow relegation candidates Tottenham just before the international break.
It was a real show of strength from Forest – and the perfect follow-up act to the penalty shootout victory at FC Midtjylland in the last 16, following an entertaining 2-2 draw on aggregate.
Yeah, this has all the makings of a Europa League classic!
Porto vs Nottingham Forest Odds

Porto vs Nottingham Forest Betting Tips
Anytime goalscorer – Igor Jesus @ 3.95
In the Europa League, Jesus has been nothing short of spectacular this season. The Brazilian striker has seven goals from nine appearances in the competition, and was also on target in the victory at Spurs before the international break. With such great odds on offer, backing him to strike in a fourth Europa League away game in 2025-26 could be a great bet.
Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.92
But we expect hosts Porto to join Forest on the scoresheet here. The Portuguese outfit have scored two or more times in each of their last six matches, and you have to go back to October for the previous occasion they failed to net in a home contest.
