Genk are looking to reach the next round of the 2025-26 Europa League campaign, the Round of 16.
And the Jupiler Pro League side are in a fantastic position after claiming a deserved 3-1 victory at Dinamo Zagreb last week.
It was one of Genk’s finest performances of the season to date, and gives them a huge advantage ahead of this crucial play-off second leg.
Check out our full preview for Genk vs Dinamo Zagreb below, and we have picked out some sports betting online tips for tomorrow night’s match based on the latest Europa League odds.
Genk vs Dinamo Zagreb Preview
Genk must have been riding the crest of a wave after their 3-1 victory in Zagreb, secured by a brace from Zakaria El Ouahdi.
However, the Pro League side were brought crashing back down to reality on the weekend courtesy of a 3-0 home defeat to Standard Liege.
It was a result which caught plenty of people off guard, especially given Genk’s recent form across all competitions.
Prior to the loss vs Standard, Genk had won five consecutive matches, a run which included crucial successes over Anderlecht (2-0) and Mechelen (2-3).
But the fun is now over in that regard, and the order of the day is for Nicky Hayen’s men to bounce back in style against a tough European opponent.
Dinamo Zagreb won 4-0 at Varazdin on the weekend, their second consecutive win by that scoreline in the Croatian top flight.
Genk will be buoyed by Dinamo’s poor form on the road in this competition, though.
The Croatian outfit lost 4-0 at Lille back in November, and were then beaten 2-0 at FC Midtjylland on Matchday 8 of the League Phase.
If Genk can quickly brush away the demons from Standard’s recent visit, they can overwhelm a side which needs to go full throttle from the first minute in search of goals.

Genk vs Dinamo Zagreb Betting Tips
Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.71
Dinamo’s need for goals to try and complete an unlikely comeback leads us to believe that this could be a high-scoring match, like the first leg was. An identical outcome in terms of the BTTS market looks firmly on the cards.
Total goals – Over 2.5 @ 1.87
This selection has landed in five of Genk’s last six matches across all competitions, albeit not in their favour whatsoever vs Standard. But with high-quality attackers on both sides and the obvious situation of the game, it could be a difficult night for the defences here.
