Spain vs Germany – Both Teams to Score @ 1.71

The first quarter-final of Euro 2024 pits arguably the two teams of the tournament so far against each other. Both Spain and Germany have flexed their footballing muscles, with the former winning all four games.

Spain and Germany have also scored in all four of their games and that is a trend we can see continuing in Stuttgart.

With attacking stars like Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams, Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz on the field, surely neither Manuel Neuer or Unai Simon will be keeping a clean sheet, right?

It is set to be an absolute cracker between two sides who do not really have a clear weakness – and the midfield battle between Rodri and Toni Kroos could well prove decisive in how the game eventually pans out.

But good luck predicting the eventual winner…

France to beat Portugal @ 2.39

While Portugal boast some of the best attackers on the planet, they have yet to really strike fear into an opponent.

Cristiano Ronaldo was incredibly wasteful in the 0-0 draw with Slovenia, while Bernardo Silva and Rafael Leao have struggled for form on the flanks.

As such, we cannot see a Portugal side still heavily reliant on 39-year-old Ronaldo and 41-year-old Pepe getting the better of France.

Yes, the French have also flattered to deceive somewhat at Euro 2024 so far but they have looked defensively strong with William Saliba and Jules Kounde marshalling the defence, while Kylian Mbappe still looks capable of winning any match.

Switzerland to beat England @ 3.90

Yeah, we fancy the supposed ‘underdog’ here. But while England go into this match as favourites, there can be no denying that Switzerland are the actual form team ahead of kick-off.

Granit Xhaka’s side have really impressed at Euro 2024, unluckily drawing 1-1 with Germany before beating Italy 2-0 in the last 16 with the most dominant of performances.

The Swiss are strong in all areas with a quick, fluid attack and bags of tournament experience, which means England may struggle to match them – even with match-winners like Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.

If Xhaka takes the game by the scruff of the neck while Manuel Akanji and Fabian Schar nullify the likes of Bellingham, Kane and Phil Foden, Gareth Southgate’s side will probably be heading home on Sunday.

Netherlands vs Turkey – Both Teams to Score @ 1.77

The Netherlands are at just 1.61 to beat Turkey on Saturday evening, so we fancy increasing the odds a little bit by predicting both teams to score.

Okay, the Dutch may have kept a clean sheet in their 3-0 last-16 victory over Romania but even with world-class operators like Virgil van Dijk and Nathan Ake, they have still not looked too convincing at the back this tournament, shipping three goals against Austria.

So the likes of Arda Guler, Kenan Yildiz and the returning Hakan Calhanoglu should take advantage to get Turkey on the scoresheet at least once.

And at the other end, the fiery Turkish defence faces a mountain to climb in stopping Cody Gakpo, Xavi Simons, Memphis Depay and Donyell Malen from wreaking havoc once again.

It has the potential to be a goalfest, one in which the Dutch should eventually emerge victorious.
