Spain to beat Italy @ 2.22
A tough one to call between two good teams. But we think Spain will have the edge in this game with a more complete side being able to take advantage of Italy’s deficiencies – especially after a convincing 3-0 win against a strong Croatia side. Italy will feel confident after their win over Albania which puts them in a good position to continue in the competition, however, Spain are a different animal and require tools to stop that we do not think Italy have.
Portugal to beat Turkey @ 1.57
Despite a strong Turkey showing in the first round of fixtures, Portugal are just too good to not take the win on this occasion. Offering defensive solidity, as well as one of the widest ranges of attacking options at the tournament, we do not see a way that Turkey can keep them out as Portugal look to confirm their place in the last 16.
England to beat Denmark @ 1.62
England are the favourites going into this one, the Three Lions looking to improve after their slow-paced opener against Serbia. Their attacking arrangement will look to cause problems for a resolute Danish defensive unit, as creative midfielders like Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden try to slice through their lines. However, we saw Denmark’s quality against Slovenia and they will not give up easily, representing a tough game for anyone in this competition.
Croatia to beat Albania @ 1.51
You have to feel for Albania in what is probably the strongest group in the whole tournament. A loss to Italy in their first game was expected but they kept their pride with a spirited performance, as well as the fastest goal in European Championship history. They showed spectators that they are not here just to take part but again, they face one of the strongest teams at the tournament. And again, we expect a similar result.
