Darts: World Grand Prix 2025 – Quarter-Finals Preview

Super Bowl LVIII: San Francisco 49ers v Kansas City Chiefs Preview

We might be in the midst of an international break, but there is still plenty of sport to look forward to this weekend!

Tonight, the latter stages of the World Grand Prix begin in Leicester, England, with the quarter-finals pitting some of the finest players on the planet against each other.

Luke Littler and Luke Humphries are part of the eight-man group left, but will either go on to lift the trophy?

We will soon find out, but here are some sports betting tips focused on tonight’s World Grand Prix quarter-finals, complete with the latest and best darts odds.

*All odds are subject to change

Luke Littler vs Gerwyn Price: 170 finish in the match – Yes @ 7.00

Quarter-final ties at a major darts tournament do not come much bigger than this. It is actually a bit of a shame that this is not the final itself, given both players are in sensational form and bring out the best in one another. Of course, we are taking a risk with this selection, as 170 finishes are quite rare. That being said, both Littler and Price love being a showman, and will look to leave the three-digit number as regularly as possible in order to try and thrill the crowd. For what it is worth, Littler secured the victory over defending champion Mike De Decker in the previous round with a 170 finish.

Luke Humphries vs Cameron Menzies: Most 180s – Cameron Menzies @ 2.38

World No1 Humphries did not register a single 180 in the First Round, which is unlike him, though did follow up with six of them vs Krzysztof Ratajski to help secure a 3-1 win. But Menzies is a player who can pepper the T20 bed on his day, also hitting six 180s in his second-round victory over Rob Cross. If he keeps his emotions in check, we fancy him to better Humphries in the 180 department. The big question for the Scotsman is whether he can match his opponent on the doubles, which will ultimately decide the outcome of the contest.

Danny Noppert vs Gary Anderson: Over 4.5 sets @ 2.59

This should be a fantastic clash between two world-class players. Former UK Open champion Noppert is capable of beating anyone, while Anderson is a two-time World Championship winner and looks hungry for more titles. Both players are big scorers, which places even more emphasis on the efficiency for doubling in and doubling out. If each of them reach the levels displayed in the previous round, Anderson beating Joe Cullen (3-0) and Noppert seeing off Stephen Bunting (3-1), a potential five-set classic awaits us.

Jonny Clayton to beat Dirk van Duijvenbode @ 1.69

Tipping a man who is yet to drop a set at the World Grand Prix to lose is a bold move, but Clayton still gets our nod of approval here. Van Duijvenbode followed up a 2-0 win over compatriot Michael van Gerwen with a 3-0 victory vs Daryl Gurney. Clayton was far from great in his 3-1 win over Luke Woodhouse, doing just enough to get over the line. However, the Welshman’s experience in the latter stages of this tournament (which he won in 2021), may prove to be the deciding factor here. And if D16 is found regularly to start the scoring, Clayton should have too much in the locker.
