Dumfries, a player already renowned as one of the most forward-thinking wing-backs on the planet, scored twice and recorded an assist in Catalonia, producing a sensational all-round display. With Barca still missing their starting left-back in Alejandro Balde due to injury, Dumfries may very well enjoy himself again and contribute further to the La Liga side’s elimination from the competition.

With Thomas Partey returning from suspension in Paris, expect Declan Rice to move into an advanced midfield role and Merino to once again be deployed as a makeshift striker. The Spaniard has excelled in the position, scoring once and recording two assists across the 5-1 aggregate quarter-final win vs Real Madrid. With Jurrien Timber a fitness doubt and the onus on Arsenal to find a goal from somewhere, PSG’s marauding full-backs can have a field day at the Parc des Princes. Mendes has four goals and one assist in this season’s Champions League and it was his strike in the 3-1 home win over Aston Villa which ultimately sealed a place in the semis.
