Juventus to beat Club Brugge @ 2.26

Qualification will be the first thing on both of these teams’ minds when they face off this week. Currently residing in the play-off places, they both need to secure their spot in the coming matchdays, or risk being left behind.

And both in form domestically means this is set to be a fascinating match in Belgium, but we believe Juventus have too much quality and will likely overpower a Club Brugge side who admittedly are prone to upsets in this competition.

Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen to draw @ 3.25

A game that may go under the radar for many people, but in reality, is likely to be one of the more exciting matches of the round. Two teams with pedigree in Europe and currently succeeding domestically, with both sitting 2nd in their respective divisions.

Leverkusen are 4th in the Champions League and want to continue their form to ensure automatic qualification. While Atleti are 11th, just one point away from immediate progression. It’s a massive game and both teams will be determined to take home three points. But on this occasion, we think they’ll share the spoils.

Borussia Dortmund to beat Bologna @ 2.10

It’s a case of the nearlys as these two sides face off this week, with them equally being on the edge of opposite ends of the table. Bologna are 33rd and on the verge of elimination, so even wins in their last two fixtures may not be enough to gain a play-off place.

And they face a tough task in defeating Borussia Dortmund, who are 9th and vying for automatic qualification, currently just one point away. BVB need a win this week to maintain the pressure, so it’s another intriguing fixture – and we think the German side have what it takes to win!

Manchester City to beat PSG @ 2.58

Perhaps the most glamorous fixture of the round. The city of love will play host, but there’ll be no affection between the two sides as they fight for three points. Pep Guardiola and Manchester City are by no means used to being underdogs, but due to recent form, this is how they’ll enter this week’s game against the French champions.

Picking up a 6-0 win over Ipswich at the weekend will have filled the Citizens with the confidence they need to take down a PSG side that reside comfortably atop Ligue 1. The French club will need to find a new level in the Champions League, as they are at risk of elimination in the new-look League Phase. We’re predicting a City win in what should be a very close encounter.
