Champions League 2025/26: Our Matchday 6 Predictions

Football Predictions

Matchday 6 of this Champions League campaign is set to be decisive on every front.

Several clubs are playing their final cards to keep their qualification hopes alive, while others are looking to secure a top spot in their group. Many fixtures feature teams still fighting for a place in the Round of 16, promising tightly contested matches, high intensity and potentially major surprises.

With some teams aiming to manage their efforts, others under immense pressure with no margin for error, and a few chasing a last-minute miracle to extend their European journey, this final round of the group stage could reshuffle everything.

Here is an overview and a selection of predictions for some of the most exciting sports betting matches of the week, all based on our latest football odds.

Champions League: Matchday 6 Predictions

*All odds are subject to change

Union Saint-Gilloise vs Marseille: Mason Greenwood to score anytime @ 2.30
Although Mason Greenwood has gone a few matches without scoring, the Marseille winger remains one of OM’s biggest offensive threats, alongside Aubameyang. His constant movement, ability to beat defenders and create chances suggest that he could be close to finding the net again.

Against a Union Saint-Gilloise side that often struggles defensively and concedes plenty of chances, the conditions seem ideal for the young Englishman to get opportunities. Given how important this European match is for Marseille, Greenwood could well rise to the occasion.

Club Brugge vs Arsenal: Both Teams to Score – No @ 1.87
Arsenal have shown remarkable defensive discipline since the start of the competition, conceding just one goal in five matches—a testament to their organisation and compact structure. Mikel Arteta’s men know how to control the tempo and close down spaces, which makes life extremely difficult for opposing forwards.

Brugge, meanwhile, continue to show fragility at both ends of the pitch. With 13 goals conceded already, the Belgian side appears ill-equipped to break down a defence as solid as Arsenal’s. With qualification in sight, the Gunners are expected to rely once again on their defensive stability and could well finish the group stage with another clean sheet.

Liverpool to beat Inter Milan @ 3.60
Despite going through an unexpected crisis, Liverpool have a habit of stepping up when it matters most in the Champions League. Their European campaign has been relatively positive, and Arne Slot’s side has repeatedly shown its ability to respond in high-pressure situations.

Inter Milan are a formidable opponent and have been impressive in this year’s competition, but Liverpool still possess enough quality—especially on the counter—to exploit any opening. With their European experience, individual talent and a strong need to bounce back, a win at San Siro is far from unrealistic, particularly at such an appealing price.

Real Madrid vs Manchester City: Kylian Mbappé to score anytime @ 1.80
Kylian Mbappé is in exceptional form. With 9 goals in just 5 matches, the French superstar leads the scoring charts and shows no sign of slowing down. His pace, finishing ability and habit of performing in major fixtures make him Real Madrid’s most dangerous weapon in this high-profile clash.

Facing a Manchester City defence that can struggle against fast, explosive attackers, Mbappé should have several chances to strike. Given his current momentum, it is difficult to imagine him finishing this match without making an impact.
