Champions League 2025/26 – Matchday 5 Betting Tips

The Champions League is back, and we have some great matches to look forward to this week.

Chelsea host Barcelona tomorrow evening, before Arsenal and Bayern Munich lock horns at the Emirates. And lest we forget, Club Brugge and Union Saint-Gilloise are each in action, taking on Sporting Lisbon and Galatasaray.

We have taken a look at all 18 Champions League fixtures on the schedule and picked out four more online sports betting tips, all of them based on our latest offering of football odds.

*All odds are subject to change

Chelsea vs Barcelona: Anytime goalscorer – Marcus Rashford @ 2.88

Rashford returns to England after reigniting his career at Barcelona. The last time the winger played a Premier League side, he scored twice to secure a 2-1 win at Newcastle. And Rashford has enjoyed some success against Chelsea in the past, netting six goals in 21 appearances. The Englishman has also been prolific on the Champions League stage overall this season, tallying four goals in as many games. As such, the odds here just scream ‘value’, especially as Barca have scored 21 goals in their previous six matches.

Bodo/Glimt vs Juventus: Draw @ 3.86

Juventus and draws have gone hand in hand of late. The Bianconeri have drawn the last three matches across all competitions, including last weekend’s 1-1 at Fiorentina. Juve also drew 1-1 with Sporting Lisbon in their previous Champions League contest, so this could be a shrewd selection to make. Bodo/Glimt have already proven this season that they can compete with the continent’s biggest clubs, drawing 2-2 with Tottenham on Matchday 2. And if you think the Norwegian side are the more likely of the two to win the game, you can get them at 1.69 in the Double Chance market.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich: Anytime goalscorer – Harry Kane @ 2.63

Yes, we know Arsenal are famed for their defensive strength, but the Gunners have conceded in each of the last two Premier League matches and are without injured defensive leader, Gabriel Magalhaes. Furthermore, Bayern are a goalscoring machine this season, and Kane is the leader of the pack in that regard. The England captain has already netted 24 times across all competitions, with five of those goals coming on the Champions League stage. Oh, and Kane also has a ridiculous record vs Arsenal, with 15 goals in 21 previous appearances. So we were a tad surprised to see just how good the odds are here!

Marseille vs Newcastle: First goalscorer double chance – Mason Greenwood OR Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang @ 3.60

Greenwood and Aubameyang have each been fabulous in front of goal this season. Greenwood is Ligue 1’s top scorer with 10 goals, while Aubameyang has six of his own and eight assists across all competitions. They also both scored in the recent league wins over Brest (3-0) and Nice (1-5), with Aubameyang netting the opener in the latter. So stopping the pair in the cauldron that is the Stade Velodrome looks a tall order for Newcastle, whose away form in the Premier League has been shocking of late. Eddie Howe’s men have suffered three away defeats on the bounce, conceding eight goals in the process.
