Union Saint-Gilloise are looking to stay alive in this season’s Champions League.
The Belgian champions are 27th in the table and just outside the play-off places ahead of Matchday 7, though their upcoming assignment could not be a more difficult one.
USG travel to face a formidable Bayern side which has swept aside all comers at the Allianz Arena this season.

Vincent Kompany’s side thrashed Wolfsburg 8-1 at the Allianz in their first game back, before recording back-to-back away wins over FC Koln (1-3) and RB Leipzig (1-5).
Bayern are yet to lose in the Bundesliga, winning 16 of 18 matches and scoring a ridiculous 71 goals.
The German machine has operated magnificently in the Champions League too, sitting second in the table after mustering five wins from six – the only blemish being a 3-1 loss at Arsenal.
At home in Europe, Bayern beat Chelsea (3-1), Club Brugge (4-0) and Sporting Lisbon (3-1), so the unenviable size of the task at the hands of USG is clear for all to see.
Hubert’s men have at least won both matches since Belgian football’s return, recording a 2-0 win at Dender in the Croky Cup quarter-finals before achieving a crucial 1-0 home success over Mechelen in the Pro League.
And interestingly, USG have been far better on the road in the Champions League than at home, tallying two impressive victories at PSV Eindhoven (1-3) and Galatasaray (0-1).
But the huge 4-0 home defeats to both Inter Milan and Newcastle, as well as a 3-1 failure at Atletico Madrid, suggest that USG may struggle to keep the scoreline respectable in Bavaria.

To say Bayern are the favourites here would be something of an understatement, with the all-conquering German giant priced at just 1.12 to claim the win. A victory for USG is at long odds of 18.00 – a rarely high value in this competition – and the draw is 9.75.

With Harry Kane priced as low as 1.38 to score anytime in this match, which is understandable, we have looked elsewhere to find some value. Luis Diaz piqued our interest, but Olise gets our final nod of approval. The Frenchman scored and notched three assists in the weekend win over Leipzig, taking his overall tally to 13 goals and 20 assists across all competitions this season. What a player!
