The 2024-25 Bundesliga season concludes this weekend, with Bayern Munich confirmed as champions.
Bochum and Holsten Kiel have already been relegated, while Heidenheim look destined to finish behind St Pauli and Hoffenheim in the play-off spot.
But the battle for European qualification is where the action is. Bayer Leverkusen are guaranteed Champions League football next season, with Eintracht Frankfurt, Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund battling for the final two spots on Europe’s biggest stage.
Elsewhere, RB Leipzig and Mainz are locked in a skirmish to secure a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifiers.

Dortmund could not have asked for a better opponent for their final battle to reach the Champions League. Bayer Leverkusen to beat Mainz @ 2.95
Now, even though Leverkusen have secured second and a spot in the Champions League, this match is of huge significance. Why so? Well, it is the final time we will see Xabi Alonso in the Bundesliga side’s dugout, so the players should be eager to give the manager a proper send off. Both of these teams have won just one of the previous five top-flight encounters, so expect a close game. But we feel confident of eventually witnessing one last snippet of Alonso managerial magic in Germany.
Michael Olise to score for Bayern Munich vs Hoffenheim @ 2.59
When you think of Bayern and goals, Harry Kane is usually the first name that pops in your head. But Olise has also been in superb form of late, the French winger scoring in each of the last three Bundesliga games to take his overall tally to 11 strikes. And the ex-Crystal Palace ace should certainly enjoy himself against a Hoffenheim team which has conceded 64 goals and kept just four clean sheets all season.
Freiburg vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Draw @ 3.71
Without question the biggest game of Bundesliga Matchday 34, with Eintracht sitting third on 57 points and Freiburg in fourth with 55 on the board. So, provided Dortmund cruise to victory – as we have predicted above – one of these teams will drop out of the top four. Freiburg are in better form with four wins in the last five, but even with home advantage on Saturday, we are tipping Eintracht to shine under pressure and pick up a draw, which would secure their place in the Champions League.
