The Bundesliga is back with a bang this weekend, as the season’s first edition of Der Klassiker takes place on Saturday evening.
German champions Bayern Munich host Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena, with Vincent Kompany’s side looking to tighten their grip on top spot.

Bayern have been an unstoppable machine so far this campaign, winning all 10 matches across all competitions.

Harry Kane has contributed to 21 of them (18 goals, three assists), while summer signing Luis Diaz (six goals, four assists) and the ever-improving Michael Olise (five goals, six assists) have each been lethal from the flanks.

And like Bayern, Niko Kovac’s Dortmund are yet to taste defeat in any competition this season, though have drawn three matches after only mustering a 1-1 vs RB Leipzig last time out.
But BVB still look a far more complete team these days, one capable of winning midfield battles and defending more doggedly when the going gets tough – crucial traits to have ahead of a visit to Bavaria.
And Dortmund also possess their own potent attacking weapon in striker Serhou Guirassy, who has already tallied six goals and three assists in all competitions.

The Colombian forward scored twice and assisted in the 3-0 victory at Eintracht Frankfurt last time out, and has contributed in all three top-flight matches at the Allianz this term. With Kane, Diaz and Olise in attack, we expect Bayern to win comfortably here. That being said, the offensive power possessed by Dortmund – with Guirassy supported by Karim Adeyemi and Max Beier – leads us to believe that the visitors will grab at least one goal.
