Leuven vs Charleroi
No team has had a more surprising start to the season than Leuven. They currently occupy fourth spot having lost just twice in their opening seven games – they have only dropped points against Belgian giants Club Brugge, Antwerp and Anderlecht. They face another tricky task on matchday eight of the Jupiler Pro League 2022 campaign, as they prepare to host sixth place Charleroi.
The visitors have also impressed early on and have won three of their last four matches. They will be full of confidence ahead of the fixture, but they have shown more frailties than their opposition this season, most prominently in a 3-1 home defeat to Oostende. It is sure to be a tight affair contested by two in-form teams, but Leuven have been the standout performer thus far.

Westerlo vs Anderlecht

They have the worst defensive record in the division and prepare to welcome Anderlecht having lost five of their last six games.
Anderlecht aren’t exactly in the best form themselves – they have not won in three matches – but there is bundles of talent throughout their side which should be enough to see them start climbing the league standings relatively soon. Only Antwerp and St. Truiden have conceded fewer goals than this Anderlecht side, and provided they can contain Westerlo’s attack, they shouldn’t have too much trouble picking up the points on the road.

Cercle Brugge vs Antwerp
These are cracking odds for the Jupiler Pro League 2022 league leaders to beat bottom of the league. Antwerp have won all seven games thus far, taking them five points clear at the summit of the table. They will travel to face a Cercle Brugge side that have won just once in their opening seven, losing four in the process.
The hosts were hammered 4-0 in the Brugge derby last time out and showed little promise of improving anytime soon. They have scored the fewest goals (3) in the league, which does not bode well as they look to breakdown the best defence in the division. Antwerp have a brilliant blend of defensive solidity and attacking prowess that could see them seriously challenge for the Pro League title this season.
