A 0-0 draw in St. Gilloise’s last outing allowed Champions Club Brugge to close the gap at the top of the Jupiler Pro League rankings to seven points with just 11 games to play. At the opposite end of the table, it is Beerschot VA who are 12 points adrift of safety and favourites to be relegated, whilst Seraing are also in danger of facing a relegation play-off.

St. Truiden vs KV Mechelen
Some strong recent form will have both of these teams looking upwards in the Jupiler Pro League rankings as we approach the end of the regular season campaign. Mechelen will have their eyes on a place in the Championship play-offs, whilst St. Truiden will be hoping to close the gap between themselves and the Conference play-offs. The home side have lost just once in their last seven and have kept three consecutive clean sheets, but they will face a difficult challenge in stopping this free-scoring Mechelen attack. The visitors have won four of their last six, and they have the quality in their attack to outscore this St. Truiden side.
KV Mechelen win @ 3.00
Cercle Brugge vs Genk
After a fine run of form saw Brugge win seven of eight games coming into the New Year, they have stuttered in recent weeks, winning just once in their last five. Defeat to Genk this weekend could put an end to their chances of breaching the top eight, with the visitors set to go eight points clear should they pick up the win. The visitors have had a fairly poor campaign thus far, but some decent form in 2022 has seen them climb back up the Jupiler Pro League rankings. Junya Ito is in the creative form of his career, playing a supporting role for last season’s top goalscorer Paul Onuachu. Despite some patchy form this season, the Nigerian has still netted 16 in 25 games, and a strong end to the season for Genk could rest on his shoulders.
Genk win @ 2.40
Kortrijk vs St. Gilloise
The nerves may just have started getting to the league leaders in recent outings. St. Gilloise are still seven points clear at the top of the Jupiler Pro League rankings, but a defeat this weekend would surely open the door for Club Brugge. We expect the visitors to bring the intensity this weekend, and given the hosts have lost five of their last six, St. Gilloise should come out on top. They have kept six clean sheets in their last eight games, and given Kortrijk’s lack of goal scorers outside of Faiz Selemanie, the home side don’t stand much chance of picking up the points.
St. Gilloise win @ 1.74
Seraing vs Club Brugge
Since these two last met at the beginning of December, Seraing have gone on to lose 10 of their last 12 league games, failing to score in 10 of those games. On the other hand, Club Brugge have lost just once in their last eight, and looked back to their best as they put four past Antwerp in their last outing. New signing Andreas Skov Olsen has been an instant success, picking up three assists and a goal in his first four appearances for the Belgian Champions. These two are at complete opposite ends of the form table, and given Seraing’s inability to find the net, they will likely be on the end of another defeat this weekend.
Club Brugge win @ 1.47
Antwerp vs Beerschot VA
Defeats to St. Gilloise and Club Brugge in their last four games have all but ended Antwerp’s outside chances of challenging for the title – they are now 11 points behind St. Gilloise in the Jupiler Pro League rankings. Despite their poor recent form, they have the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways this weekend as they host bottom of the table Beerschot. The visitors have not won a game on the road all season and face little chance of escaping relegation. It would be a major shock if Antwerp were to drop points this weekend.
Antwerp win @ 1.57
Anderlecht vs Oostende
Oostende are probably the most inconsistent team in the Pro League – in their last eight games, they have won twice, drawn three and lost three. Just when they gain some momentum to build off, they lose a game that they really should be winning. Whilst they are in no danger of going down, there is also no real chance of them securing a place in the play-offs, leaving them with little to play for in their remaining games. The same can’t be said for Anderlecht, who are yet to solidify a place in the top four, with Gent and Mechelen tailing closely in sixth and seventh. Vincent Kompany’s side will certainly be favourite to secure that fourth spot, and with Joshua Zirkzee continuing to impress, the hosts will look to apply some pressure to those beneath them as we reach the end of the regular season.
Anderlecht win @ 1.3
Charleroi vs St. Liege
Although they lost their main man in the January transfer window, Charleroi have continued to pick up results and now look like they will be in the Conference play-offs come the end of the season. They will be favourites this weekend as they host a St. Liege team on track for one of their worst ever league finishes. Fans have been waiting and waiting for things to click, but it never happened. The visitors have now won just once in their last 10 league games, and although they will probably be safe from relegation, it is a huge disappointment for a club that finished as runners-up just five years ago. The lack of goals scored has been a major issue, and Charleroi will be confident in picking up all three points.
Charleroi win @ 2.15
Gent vs Waregem
Gent’s impressive run of form in February has given them a good chance of breaking into the top four in the remaining fixtures. They have won four consecutive league games, scoring eight and conceding just once. It is there rock-solid defence which has been a constant this season, and with just 27 conceded, only St. Gilloise have a better defensive record. Tarik Tissoudali has gone from strength to strength at the other end, and with four in his last four games, the Moroccan is on track for his most prolific campaign since breaking through with Telstar. The hosts shouldn’t have too much trouble dispatching of a Waregem side that has picked up just one win in eight and is just six points clear of safety in the Jupiler Pro League rankings.
Gent win @ 1.26
Eupen vs Leuven
After a decent start to the campaign, just one win in 19 league games has left Eupen in real danger of facing a relegation play-off. Despite the best efforts of Smail Prevljak, the hosts have failed to score enough goals to give themselves a chance in most games. They will face another tricky challenge this weekend as they welcome an in-form Leuven side. Xavier Mercier is the league’s chief creator with 13 assists, and his influence in attack has led to the upturn in form of Sory Kaba, who has netted five in his last six. They will be slight favourites to hand Eupen a fourth defeat in five.
Leuven win @ 2.45
