Club Brugge are looking to keep their 2025-26 Champions League dreams alive in the play-off round.
However, Ivan Leko’s men face one of the toughest assignments in European football – a trip to play Atletico Madrid at the iconic Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
The scoreline reads 3-3 after a hugely entertaining first leg in Bruges, in which Christos Tzolis netted a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser for the hosts.

Club Brugge also picked up a victory of their own last Saturday, although in a slightly less convincing manner, edging past OH Leuven with a 2-1 triumph – secured by yet another goal from Tresoldi.
However, it means the Pro League outfit have won four of the last six matches across all competitions, while Atletico’s home game before the aforementioned win over Espanyol saw them thrash Barcelona 4-0 in the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
Simeone’s side really are formidable in Madrid, so Club Brugge may need to deliver the performance of their lives to qualify for the Round of 16!
