Under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini, Roma have been an efficient entity this season and currently sit second in the table, level on 15 points with champions Napoli.
The Giallorossi boast five wins from six in Serie A, achieving that feat by scoring just seven goals. However, four of those goals came in the recent victories over Hellas Verona (2-0) and Fiorentina (1-2).
But more impressively, Roma have only conceded twice in the Italian top flight all season, a defensive record Gasperini will need to lean on when facing a free-scoring Inter side.
Cristian Chivu’s men are fourth in the table with 17 goals netted, and on a run of three consecutive wins over Sassuolo (2-1), Cagliari (0-2) and Cremonense (4-1).
But Inter will be without key striker Marcus Thuram for this fixture due to injury, which is a blow given the Frenchman has already scored five goals across all competitions in 2025-26.
Ange-Yoan Bonny is the favourite to partner Lautaro Martinez in Thuram’s absence, while Roma could welcome back Leon Bailey and Angelino from spells out, with their overall squad health looking in great shape.
Last season, Inter won this match 1-0 thanks to a goal from Martinez, though Roma got revenge at the San Siro courtesy of a 1-0 victory of their own, secured by a strike from Matias Soule.

Furthermore, his record means he has played a decisive role in five of Roma’s seven Serie A goals – so we still cannot quite believe how good the odds are for this selection!
Manu Kone to commit over 1.5 fouls @ 2.10
In a fiery atmosphere with two of Italy’s best going toe-to-toe, midfielders are likely to be drawn into making fouls. Roma star Kone has already committed 12 of them in Serie A this term, which works out at an average of two per appearance. So this could be a fairly low-risk selection, one with decent value attached too.
